Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased our first one in mid-2015, and that one failed February 2018 - it stopped heating anything. We figured it was the Magnetron, which comes with 10 yr warranty. My wife called Samsung, and they said just buy another, because it wasn’t certain the problem was the Magnetron. Reason being was that if they made a service call, and it wasn’t the Magnetron unit we’d be charged whatever the service fee plus repairs. In short, for about $250, they said it was easier to buy another. We weren’t happy with that, but we are space constrained so we bought another. The “new” one just died this week (July 10th) - no power. And, it’s not the outlet, because we plugged our toaster oven in and it works fine. Really frustrating to sink $500 into two microwave ovens in 4 years from what’s supposed to be a reputable vendor in Samsung. On the look-out for a reliable, new microwave. Any recommendations welcomed.

Unfortunately it is under powered and it takes much longer to heat anything than our old one. The fit and finish is excellent.

At about $200, you think they could have sprung for back-lit numbers. Other than that, great, even heat. Best Microwave I've ever purchased. Even if it is missing a feature $40 microwaves have.

The buttons also started doing that weird plastic flaking thing after only a few months of use. Hard to use just the microwave without the convection thing.

Door is pretty flimsy, not put together well but the price and its technology, try it out
