Very poor performance, same wattage as old microwave but took much longer to heat. Interior light is basically useless. Grilling function not as useful as I thought and slow. Returned and got the LG Neo Chef LMC1575ST and am very pleased with it's performance.

This was purchased to replace a GE microwave, we settled for this since there weren't and GE microwaves available. This microwave died 11 months and we just replaced it because we can not be without one. Avoid this model at all cost!

This was my second Samsung in four days. Both poorly constructed. Doors did not align up and the bar to open it didn’t work. Light did not turn off while connected to power. Not like Samsung to produce such inferior products!

Worst microwave I’ve ever had. Looks great though. Takes varying times to warm up same plates of food. I wish i still had the box. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

My 3rd Samsung Microwave, is far inferior to my old models. Presets leave item cold or burnt. Very noisy, tinny cabinet, very poor lighting. A big drop in function and quality. No stars for Samsung.

Did not live up to expectations. Eight years newer than the microwave it replaced and more than one step backwards in convenience and performance. Cannot recommend.

Took A month to arrive to then work sometimes and not work sometimes and then it stopped working after 30 days and can’t be returned .

I bought this microwave October 18th 2015 it stopped working December 5th 2016. Rediculous a microwave only worked for a year. Never will I buy a Samsung product again

Bought this for my new home and it came in the box broken. Not to mention it’s so huge barely will fit on counter

I recently purchased this to replace a 13 year old Samsung microwave that had a grilling feature, that died. The mirrored front with the somewhat bright blue display gives a high tech appearance. I chose this model because I needed one with a grilling feature for convenience at a reasonable price. It is 50 watts lower in cooking power than my old one (950 watts vs. 1000 watts), but that simply means a slightly longer (5%) cooking time. (e.g. 6 seconds longer for what used to take two minutes ... not a major issue). I do like the "sound off" feature since I find beeping appliances somewhat annoying. I would have liked a swing down grilling element for easier cleaning like some other models have and don't believe that would have added much to the cost if used in this model. Some complain about having to press the buttons somewhat hard, but it was pretty much the same with my older unit so it was not a big change for me. What annoyed me was that some of the auto cook features require you to have the manual handy (or eventually commit them to memory) since the display by itself is not very informative. Also, some of the features do not work as described in the manual. For example, it implies that pressing the "auto defrost" button will scroll through various food types. It did not on mine. It simply displays "def" and then waits for you to enter the weight, but no display of food types. Also, the maximum weight you can enter is 3.5 pounds. Beyond that requires fully manual entry (i.e. power level, then some guesswork as to the time). For me this was not a major issue since I mostly defrost in the refrigerator overnight, but a more functional auto-defrost feature would have been nice. I do like the grilling stand (my older unit had a square rack which was somewhat cumbersome). The "combi" feature (both grilling and microwave together) is not correctly described in the manual. It implies that you can set the power level when using this feature (although it says to use 30% for all food types).You only need to press the "combi" button and then enter the time, so it must set the power level to 30% by default, but not allow you to change it. The unit also comes with a handy crisping plate (referred to as the crusty plate) for crisping foods such as pizza. Using the crisping plate along with the "combi" feature did yield a better reheated pizza than just simply using microwave alone, which usually resulted in a somewhat soggier pizza. As per the manual, the crisping plate also needs to be preheated (between 3 and 5 minutes) for proper crisping. So getting a non soggy slice of reheated pizza requires a bit more steps than just placing it in the oven and pressing an auto-start button. Speaking of which, I read some complaints about not having an auto-start button. Even the +30 button requires the press of at least two buttons. So the complaint seems to be having to press at least two buttons instead of one. This is a complaint? Really? Have we become that lazy of a society. Apparently ("Hey boss, I will be late today because my new microwave requires me to press more buttons than I am used to. Sorry!"). Overall, it is a good appliance with some good features. It is not a great appliance (that rating would require it to actually serve the food to me). Over the years, I have found the difference between a good appliance and a great appliance is that the great appliance will cost a lot more, will likely break down sooner, and will cost a heck of a lot more to be repaired. This is a good appliance at a good price (which was on sale).

We purchased this microwave after our 25 year old one died. We purchased it because we were intrigued with being able to reheat pizza on the special metal tray and ceramic function this microwave offers. Issue #1 this microwave takes 3 times as long to heat things as our old one did. Issue#2 The Pizza reheat feature doesn't do anything different and the upper element makes this microwave very difficult to clean. Issue #3, the door sticks closed now and does not open when you push the button. I just called Samsung for service today and will add elements from the service call after it happens.
