It's beautiful but i never got to finish jnstalling it. The holes at the top are too far out and it ended up being right on the corner of the cabinet. I don't understand why they would make it so close to the edge? It doesn't make sense to me. The microwave would have fit other wise. I've called someone to come help and hopefully he'll have a solution. Either way, it's a big inconvenience.

The Samsung - 1.7 Cu.Ft.Over-the-Range Microwave deserves 5 stars. Excellent Microwave! However, Best Buy's quality control leaves something to be desired, to say the least. The first one we picked up was evidently shipped from the manufacturer on the top outside edge of a pallet full, where the banding was over tightened to such an extent that it was obvious from the outside of the box that the item inside must be damaged. That did not stop BestBuy from selling it however. I returned it and BestBuy delivered another one. AND this one was damaged in the exact same manner but not nearly as severely. This one still functioned, so to avoid further hassle we kept it. Once installed, the damage was hidden from sight and was fairly slight, especially compared with the first one and doesn't seem to impair its performance, thankfully. In BestBuy's favor they delivered the second one promptly and without charge.

Bought this over the range Samsung microwave since we have the Samsung double oven. It fit perfectly and looks nice and sleek. It works well, as it should, and has good interior size. Also, the price was right especially since it was on sale.

Had it installed for a couple weeks now and it does everything I need. Cold food in, hot food out.

I've had multiple over the stove microwaves and this one is by far the best. It was easy to insteal, although we needed more tape for the vent and replaced the hood in the process. It allows you to enter time to the precise digit. Easy to clean. Doesnt over cook food even on defrost... had to adjust popcorn time though.

Had to buy a new over the oven microwave because my old one died. I bought this for Black Friday and thnk goodness it was on sale. It was supposed to be the same model that i had, but it came with less options built in. Oh well, at least it fit in my space. Overall, not bad, but it ls a microwave and it serves its purpose. Overall I'm happy with my buy.

Looks great, easy to install, and works like you would expect a Samsung product to work.... excellent! Can't beat the quality for that low a price.. any time we need to replace the over the range microwave in our 400+ rental properties I will purchase the samsung microwave every time!

There are not a ton of offerings in Black Stainless for microwaves in my search for a replacement after ours kicked the bucket 2 years into owning our new home. We chose Samsung since we had a color matching fridge and other appliances already. This thing was a pain to install but I honestly believe any other microwave would have been the same. However sometimes when you close the door after using it if you do it just right (or wrong lol) the microwave will turn on again. We have become use to it and rarely do it now but, it would be more of an issue if you have kids using it imo. It looks nice and cooks well. Outside of the random on when closing the door we have no other complaints with it.

Very quiet and easy to use. Not complicated features at all. Very spacious.
