The microwave is fairly quiet and runs smoothly. The only thing that I do not like is that the control keypad’s touch is insensitive. You really have to press hard for a response. Also for one minute of heat you have actually press 1-0-0 vs 1 and that takes too much of my time.

My 20 year old kenmore that this is replacing could even do that. Let’s see what else, you have to push hard on the buttons for them to work, there’s no express cook (meaning if you push the 30 second button, you still have to push start), and it makes a whirring noise after it’s done cooking like a motor winding down. I called Samsung and they don’t know what it is. They sent a service guy out who replaced one part but it didn’t fix it. In fact now after the service guy left, the turntable isn’t functioning properly. They ordered another part and they will be here Tuesday to replace and hopefully they can fix whatever he did to the turntable too. To summarize, my three week old microwave will already have two replacement parts. Thinking about returning.

We installed it ourselves and wasn't too difficult (2 person job), hardest part was planning/lining up the template on the back. Heats evenly, looks great in our Stainless Steel Kitchen, and the buttons are easy to wipe clean. I also got this on sale, so was a really good deal. Happy so far!
