I’ve always had actually surround sound the 5 speakers and a sub but having moved to a rental I couldn’t mount my speakers. So I settled for this soundbar and I’m quite pleased with the sound it produces. Not quite like my 5.1 but it’s pretty comparable. It was very easy to setup also took 5 minutes.

Very Happy with Sound Bar

All I had to do is attach to the TV and it worked and sub-woofer automatically connected. I think it sounds great. The sub-woofer has enough power, I keep it on 3 so still have room for more if I want it. Comes on automatically when I turn on TV. One remote works both the Samsung TV and Sound Bar. No negatives at this time.

Disappointed with the volume

Of course, the salesman exaggerated how loud it would be. Still, my purpose for buying this unit was because the smart TV sound was not powerful enough. Price was right, quality not satisfied.

Thank you for purchasing this Samsung Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with sound volume.
It has come to our attention that customers may be positioning the soundbar incorrectly, resulting in low volume and poor sound quality. The soundbar should be placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the Soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when you sit), you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

If you are setting this up right by the TV, you'll need to turn the TV speakers down to 0 or you'll get a slight delay between the speakers which is annoying. The speakers overall are really good and sound great.
