Due to the fact that my TV sounded good enough without it I took it back. However if that changes at all I will be going back to get this bar if it's still available.

Great little sound bar to go with our surround So

You would be amazed at the sound that comes out of this little thing lol and matched with the surround sound speakers you would not be let down.

That’s why I took one star away. Overall I would recommend this for someone.

Love the TV, but the built in speakers are pretty bad. So, we bought this to go with it. We chose to use the HDMI ARC connection as our optical audio out was already being used by another component. Everything paired instantly and we were good to go. We really enjoy these speakers.

Soundbar for greater TV sound

This sound bar was easy to hook up, and sounds great.

A great sound bar both movie and music. I purchased after reading the reviews. I didn't expect the perfect sound bar. However, I did expect a good sound bar like my previous bar. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The unit did not put out as the reviews stated. When I put up the volume, the bar stops at 59 when the unit volume goes up to 100. It lacks power, a clean, and crisp sound during a movie and worst on music. I was Dissatisfied!

Thank you for your review of this Samsung HW-R550 Soundbar. I am very sorry that you are not completely happy with the audio performance of the subwoofer.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize the potential of the included wireless subwoofer. First, is to increase the WOOFER level from the included remote control. Second is to adjust the bass control: Press the Sound Control button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level.
Finally, for precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize for your room acoustics.
