However, the digital optical cable that came with it doesn’t fit either the soundbar’s or the TV’s digital optical cable connection well at all. Without forcing it, and still not even getting a full connection, the cable would barely be sitting inside the port and is easily backed out with a slight nudge of the finger. The grooves all line up, but for some reason there’s never any solid click or feeling that it’s in all the way and you can tell it never gets to the place it’s supposed to by the “tabs” on the cable. Furthermore, one of the silicone caps were missing from the digital optical cable, no clue where it is and no hope in finding it. I’d recommend, but get your own cable! Hopefully it’ll fit better. Sucks to spend more $$ for a cable and not get credit for a cheap cable that comes with it.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-M360 Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulties with your connection.
A common reason that the optical cord is not fitting properly is that there is a small cap on the connector end that needs to be removed. Please check for the cap.
