This dishwasher stopped cleaning properly after a few months, but would fix itself after doing. Reset. Right after the one year warranty, multiple parts were broken after a year and none of the defects were covered under warranty. Cost to repair was estimated at $600-$800.

Best dishwasher I've ever had. Super quiet, love the third rack for silverware, the dry setting means no pools of water on the dishes when you empty the dishwasher, and it automatically opens the door to let the dishes dry faster. Filter is easy to clean and I have had no complaints in the 3 years I've had this.

We purchased our Samsung DW80R9950US in December of 2020, and by May of 2024 (3-1/2 years later), we are replacing it. The seals that protect the linear "waterwall" motor were leaking and caused corrosion on the motor, which eventually failed. At first, items in the bottom rack were not getting clean, and then the dishwasher simply would not start at all. We thought about repairing the dishwasher, but replacing seals that failed only after 3 years did not seem like a good idea. Our kitchen has a hardwood floor, and we feared subsequent seal failure could cause costly damage. When it comes to dishwasher reliability, Samsung has one of the worst reputations - as assessment back by Consumer Reports and by reviews on many other sites. We have other Samsung appliances (TV's, refrigerator), which are doing very well. When this dishwasher was functioning, it performed very well in terms of cleaning and quietness (38 dB). In fact, it's level of quietness was unheard of in dishwashers under $1,000 - at least back in 2020. It is quite the gut-punch to have to replace a major appliance after only 3-1/2 years, so this time I am going with Bosch, which ranks high in terms of long-term reliability.

Can I give zero stars? Delivered damaged and no comparable products in stock to replace it. Call taker tried to replace a dishwasher win a clothes washing machine

Paid over $ 1000 and it worked great for 14 months now the pump isn’t working 2 months past warranty over $ 600’s to repair… really disappointed

The dishwasher broke within a day. Luckily it’s still under warranty so the repairs should be covered.

Pots and pans in bottom rack never get clean Have tried every cycle and cleaning doesn’t improve

This is the quietest dishwasher I have had. Really like the three racks and the wash jets on the bottom. Dishes come out clean. My only issue is i keep getting an LC error which indicates water. After a week without a dishwasher, Samsung has come out and couldn't find the problem. It happened again and we are now over twi weeks and Samsung contracted repair service keeps changing the appointment. Over 2.5 weeks for service is unacceptable as is a dishwasher that has broken twice in 5 months.

Dishwasher cleans great and super quiet. Thats the good news, Bad news is its VERY susceptible to leaks. So far I had to repair mine 3x for water leaks, and im not alone. Just google it.

This unit worked great for just over 2 years. Washed the dishes really well, was very quiet and we were very happy with the purchase. Then about 2 months ago, it failed to complete a wash and showed a PC error code. Since then, it has been under repair! 3 separate service calls, 2 times extended delays waiting for parts AND it is still not working. I feel it is time for the unit to just be replaced. We have been patient over the past 2 months awaiting for service technicians, parts, etc… it is now time to SOLVE THE PROBLEM

It washes well, but there is a part in the bottom that moves back and forth during the wash. However, that easily falls off in a year or two and we ended up calling best buy for support and replacing the part since we bought the 5 yr extra coverage. Not sure what to do once the 5 yr ends.

Ultra quiet dishwasher. It so quiet that I cannot tell it's working unless I look at the status timer on the front of the dishwasher. So LOVE this unit. It wash dishes extremely well, and I really like the sanitize feature the most. The dishes come out super clean. Highly recommend.

I've had this dishwasher for almost three years, and have recommended it to several acquaintances who were in rhe market for a new dishwasher. I'm moving soon, and will be buying it again as a replacement in my new home. It's super quiet, and is the best dishwasher I have ever owned.

We love this dishwasher, but you have to be careful not to pack the top drawer too high. If you put anything too high, the rotating arm will hit it and knock off the arm. It did enough damage that the arm wont stay on anymore. We've owned this dishwasher for almost 4 years and like it otherwise.

Very quiet, cleans well, has lasted 3 years without an issue

The new Samsung Top Load Washer brings me back to my college days when we would lug our laundry down to the laundry room. All the machines there were top load. Side load were not around then. The new top load washing machine got a huge upgrade for its predecessor. What I love about the top load over the side loading washer is that I feel it is easier to use and not have to worry about the machine not being level. Also it is a lot easier to throw in that extra shirt that you forgot to put in at the beginning. I like the option you can turn on the water inside and rinse off the cap for the laundry detergent. The Agitator really scrub and and agitate the clothing without doing too much damage to the clothes. The old machine use to put your clothes thru a ringer every time you wash it. Clothes tend to not last as long because of that. I noticed my clothes aren't as tangled after the wash as with the side loading washer. The Smart aspect of the washer allows you to trouble shoot with your smart phone which is always a plus for me. I've done a total of 10 washes so far and I can tell that my clothes comes out as clean or even cleaner than my 10 year old side loading washing machine. The Acitve Water Jet allows you to pre wash those dirty stain from your clothes prior to throwing it in the washer. The washer runs very quite when it does the spinning. Most of the sound comes from the water sloshing and running inside. It has 10 different washing cycles you can choose from. I especially like the deep wash for my workout clothes and gardening. My old machine was only 4.0 cubic feet and this one is 4.4. The 0.4 makes a huge difference especially with the large comforter. I have no trouble fitting it in with room to spare. I've been wanting to get a top load for awhile to replace my side load washer. I'm very impress with all of the features this machine has.

Avoid this dishwasher like the plague. We bought a full Samsung Kitchen set in 2018. I wish we hadn't. This dishwasher was silent, powerful and good at first, then it wouldn't stop leaking. That was the first one we had. The first dishwasher we had, worked for 14 months (2 months past the warranty) and then it leaked all over. I fought with Samsung to get it replaced and they finally sent a new unit over and it was installed. Now 26 months later the "Water Wall" has quit working and the bottom of the second unit and the dishes stay dirty. Here's the worst, no technicians are willing to come and repair it, I was told to go buy a real dishwasher. I'm sick to my stomach thinking about the time and money this appliance has cost me. I really wish that a name like Samsung would back their products with better than a 2 year warranty or provide a replacement for a faulty design.

Excellent quality dishwasher. So quiet that you can not hear it running and washes the dishes perfectly!

I am so glad I finally got a washer with an agitator again! This washer is BIG! I have to wash my dogs washable potty pads and I fit 7 in it in one load, and they feel better than they have since they were new. It is going to save me alot of water. It also has an extra feature if you need to wash anything out real quick and not have to do it in your sink. In one of the pics you can see the water coming out to wash your items . I put three 1 gallon jugs of soap in there so you can see how deep the tub is. It is a great washer!! I use the heavy Duty for the dogs pads and it really gets them clean!

We loved this dishwasher until it got the 4C error code. $130 for parts that might fix it and that's not including the cost to install. Ugh. I do not like to gamble with my money. That's why I went with Samsung. But unfortunately I don’t think this was a good choice. If you chiose it, get the warranty. But I thought Samsung would last much longer than 2 years.
