RETURN!!!

No true dry function, left a lot of wet dishes (using hi temp wash and sanitize wash too). Lots of spots (yes i am using rinse aid and yes i am using detergent tabs with rinse air as well). Finally the wash function is poor. Bottles not throughly clean (used sanitize function) and pots and pans still had grease. See photo attached, this is after a 2 hour wash, there is dishwasher detergent still on side of machine. Not worth the hassle, buy somehting else.

Rubber Gasket and Valves Dissolved

After two tech visits over two months, the apparent problem was found. The Upper arm rubber gasket and valves DISSOLVED and became wrinkled. Must have a bad batch of rubber in the factory. I hope next week's replacement is a different batch... but what other rubber is faulty... hmmm?

It is very easy to open. Has a lot of room inside for lots of dishes much better than the one we had. It is very quiet and our dishes are cleaned so well. I really like the utensil basket. It holds many different things other than utensils that need to be cleaned and don't get tossed all around inside. We don't have spots on our dishes nor do we need to run it more than once so that everything gets cleaned. Not as fingerprint resistant as it claims though :(

Samsung Defect

Went out 15 months after purchase. Circuit board and Control panel....Didnt bother with the 5 yr warranty fight since the panel would have been excluded. I wont buy any other Samsung appliances.

Consumer Beware

This dishwasher is junk. Repeated displays the same error. Have been told by Best Buy (the installer) this product was installed wrong. They have been out 4 times and the dishwasher is still not working

Website FAR from accurate

I had seen this dishwasher in open box "excellent condition" for about 2mths. at the Metaire store. Approximately 1hr from my house. I decided to pull the trigger. When I arrived I was informed that the store had only been closed for several months & was open for only 3wks. & didn't have it. We looked on the Best Buy site & seen one about 30min. away. As advised by the sales associate I put it in my cart & checked out to make sure it would let me. When I arrived it was bubble wrapped & ready to go. When I arrived home I unwrapped it. There were dents & scratches on it, opened the door & there was broken parts in the bottom. Then I had to load it up & take it to UPS. This was a terrible experience that cost me time & money.

Very Quiet!

I have put many loads through it at this point and it has done a excellent job cleaning everything. I love the self opening feature to let out all the steam. My previoud washer would not do that which would result in wet dishes. I love the addition of the 3rd rack for large utensils. It makes it very easy to load. There are many adjustments that can be made to fit any and most dishes or pots. The hardware to secure the dishwasher was a bit flimsy and bent out of shape on me multiple times. I wish there was a bit more configuration adjustment on the bottom rack tines to allow for bigger or thicker cutting boards.

You can't hear it unless you get real close and i mean real close. Glasses and dishes come out clean. (I use the SmartApp which I love) Very sleek and a lot of room, even with a 3rd level that we use all the time for silverware. The zone cleaning, I am not a big fan of just because I cant honestly find a purpose.

I installed myself which was simple (which is great since I’m not handy at all). I have never had a dishwasher that was so quiet. You cannot even hear it run. I also love when cycle is almost complete, the door opens up at the end and the steam comes out. My dishes are dry ( even plastic cups) and clean. I use the top rack for my silver silverware, which I never thought I would like. I also like the ease of adjustable shelves. I can put taller tumblers on the top on it and still have height for bottom shelf to put sheet pans. The only reason I did not give a 5 is for some reason it doesn’t take all stains off inside coffee cups

Good unit but needs improvements

They need the same unit without the 3rd rack. Pros: Sleek design QUIET Smartthings Compatible Stainless Steel Tub Buttons on the top edge of the door Auto door pop to dry when the cycle is complete More jets for more cleaning power on the lower left rack Cons: I had to remove 3rd/top rack. It is not user friendly, gets in the way of the middle rack and honestly, who wants to take the time to organize silverware? The middle drawer is adjustable but in the up position you can't fit medium sized cups or bowls and in the down position you can't put standard cutting boards in the bottom rack. 3rd rack just doesn't make that much sense. The buttons are not very touch sensitive. I have to hit buttons over and over again for them to work. There is no pre-wash cup for detergent. You're just supposed to squirt it on the door. But how much is too much? The silverware holder in the bottom rack is in two pieces, snaps into place and has built on silverware separators. Two pieces is not too bad but to pull them out you have to hold the rack down and yank them out otherwise you pull the whole rack out. While I understand the silverware separators who has the time to put silverware pieces in one by one? Also, you have to take them out one by one instead of by the handful otherwise you're yanking out the whole holder or rack. Smartthings integration is only handy for notifying you when the washing is done and I think it saves some settings. You can't use the app unless you physically turn on the dishwasher. Then the app then lets you send info to the dishwasher but what's the point when you are already in front of the dishwasher turning it on? What they really need is a way to turn on/start/stop the dishwasher remotely.
