The first 3 loads I had to make sure it was running! It makes awesome little songs when its done and even connexts to your phone when or wifi! Why do you need that I don't know but it does!

The new one was installed and working perfectly now.

However two major gaps: a) it has not impressed us (yet) with how clean it gets dishes and b) there is no option to air dry only (no heated drying) which is an important eco option in many other dishwashers. Unclear if we end up returning it.

If you do a normal wash it takes up to 3 hours. I always have to set mine to the 60 min express wash. Every time I start it after a minute or so it starts beeping. So I have to check inside to make sure nothing is blocking the spinner. Which it is not. This happens altleast 2-5 times before it will work. I would definitely not recommend Samsung products. I bought all the matching appliances refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The refrigerator also doesn’t work the ice maker freezes and stops working probably 2-3 times a week. I am so disappointed I waited a long time to get new appliances and it was such a waste of money. My 15 + year old ones worked better than my new ones.
