Only used 2 times. Cleans great & super quiet. Auto open leaves alot of water on door and it pours on both sides of doors onto my wood floor and bottom cabinets. Once I figure out how to disable this feature I'll update my review.
We are happy to know that this Samsung dishwasher cleans and operates inaudibly to your standards.
The Auto Release™ Dry function can be disabled. Turn to page 36 of this models user manual I have shared below for the complete steps in disabling the function.

Negative stars. It died after 1.5 years. This dishwasher will break at the most inconvenient time (the day before Thanksgiving). It looks as though the adhesive keeping the plastic/insulation under the tub failed and crushed the pump/components. The dishwasher would act as if it was running but did not have any water (we could hear it in the tubing but none got inside). And of course it’s out of warranty. Thanks but no thanks Samsung!

We truly value your input and understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter this situation, especially at such a critical time. The symptoms described, including the adhesive failure and water supply issues, could result from wear or external factors. To better understand this, the manual's "Maintenance and Troubleshooting" section (pages 28–38) provides guidance on maintaining the adhesive and pump system, as well as tips for diagnosing water flow concerns. Check if the supplied water pressure is between 20 and 120 psi.

Ok, I guess. Cleans dishes, but that’s a minimum requirement.
The functionality leaves something to be desired. The open/close “handle” feels like it may break anytime soon. It’s also easy to accidentally turn on when opening it, which is annoying.
The rack supports have been easily bent and deformed. The silverware holder doesn’t work well with our hexagonal-handled silverware. The setup has allowed for our forks to bang together enough to bend the tines.
Ours, brand new, came dented and we had to file a claim before accepting it.
I hope it lasts, but it feels cheap. Time will tell.

Original install was before Thanksgiving. Installer told me whoever built my home in 2013 did not know what they were doing. Should not be a cabinet between dishwasher and sink. Then removed old dishwasher (still worked but replaced because we got new range and microwave and wanted them to match). Fussed about entire install. When he left, i ran a load of dirty dishes for first time and the water is not draining. Now 3 weeks later and I still do not have a functioning dishwasher. Best Buy did not prioritize getting installer back out. The two day they had available I was not able to be home because my son had a sports tournament. Have appointment for 12/18

Delivery and installation was very smooth and efficient. Installers additionally tightened kitchen faucet and recommended replacement of drainage tubing under sink and connected to garbage disposal to minimize any backup. Demonstrated how dishwasher works. Dishwasher exceeded our expected, we are glad we selected this model. Excellent representatives.

The latest addition to the smart home seems like something you dont need but there are some handy features. It keeps track of how many packs of detergent you have left and if you're out of rinse aid. The feature i like the most is one i hope i wont need and thats leak detection. If it detects a leak itll shut down the dishwasher and notify you in the smartthings app. That feature wouldve been nice to have with our old dishwasher.
