I bought this to replace an older dishwasher that was starting to fail. However, the old dishwasher cleaned way better than this new one. Every time we use it, several dishes aren't clean - mostly glasses on the top rack. They have crumbs stuck to them. I called Samsung to get someone to come out, and the woman on the phone said that she would forward my complaint but if I want someone to come out, I'd have to pay for it. She then gave me the number to a repair company that they subcontract out to. I called Samsung back and got a much more intelligent person to help me (she didn't understand my questions, or at least gave me answers that didn't answer my questions), and he was great. But he said that dishwashers just aren't as good as they used to be, and the phosphate-free detergents make it worse. I got someone to come out (under warranty) and the repairman said the same thing - that new dishwashers just aren't very good. He said even the expensive ones are no better, and are sometimes worse (he mentioned Bosch). Another thing is that the racks are made so that it's difficult to fit dishes into it, like they designed it without considering the types of dishes most people wash. I've heard many of my friends complain about this with all different kinds of dishwashers, though. One final complaint: the lower rack sometimes gets off track and you have to lift it, full of dishes, to get it back on track. This is a design flaw, and very annoying. I just don't pull the rack all the way out and it doesn't happen (but this is a pain). I would have given this dishwasher 2 stars, except I think they all clean equally badly. So this is probably just an average dishwasher.

When washing pots, they don't sit easily on the bottom rack. When you remove the section of rack, there is nothing to hold pots up.

This dishwasher cleans the dishes very well and is very quiet. My favorite feature is the child lock for the control buttons!

We got this as a replacement for a seriously old washer that was dying. It is way more efficient and its nice and quiet!

very basic model, but nice. very quiet...low decibel is nice. the only draw back is if you pull the bottom rack out too far to load it, you have to work it back onto its track.

Needed new machine that would handle large dinner plates and be quiet. The Samsung does that. It was good value from best buy and they were very good about installation. Followed up that all was handled well

It was easy to install. Stainless interior is a nice feature. Wash cycle seems to run pretty quickly but to be honest it is so quiet I never really know that it's running. I use the sanitize feature and dishes have been dry - even the plastic. Top basket is tiered so tall items can only be on one side on bottom

The first dishwasher that was delivered was probably great, but the install people messed up the installation. Best Buy was fabulous and had a replacement delivered quickly. We decided to install it ourselves. It was super easy to install. Runs really quick, except when the water is draining, which is to be expected. Dishes are dry at the end of the cycle. The only downside is that the detergent pods do not dissolve on Quickwash. This could be due to our hot water, not the unit. Regardless, this is a great dishwasher. Much quieter than the 14 year old one it replaced.

One reason we chose it was because it had to fit under my cabinet because of drawers nearby. It does not give any times of cycles and that might be nice. It does not have a drying cycle, but if you put in the jet dry finish, it does dry everything. It is very quiet and the dishes are very clean.

I've had this dishwasher for about a month. I love the capacity. There are slots in the top rack for wine glass stems so they don't bang together during the wash. Also the top rack is much deeper than most so you can wash larger top rack only items like plastic plates for the kiddos. There are two removeable silverware containers, so you can use both or take one out for more space. Love the sleek black and the child lock! My toddler can still push buttons and make it beep but he hasn't accidentally turned it on to rewet already dry dishes.

This is the second Samsungc dishwasher that I own. The DW is relatively quiet (50db) for the money. I enhanced its quietness by soundproofing the enclosure between wall and kitchen cabinet. I got a super deal at Best Buy.

Great value for what I paid. Runs smooth and quiet, Would recommend this model to my friends and family. The install was very easy also, my son-in-law had the old one out and new one in in less than 2 hours.

I bought a display model. For the price, the performance is great. Also, the unit is quiet, running at only 50dB while some other machines run much louder at 60dB. The layout of the metal trays wasn't ideal for my needs, but wasn't that bad either. The option to sterilize the unit is nice to have.
