Q: Dead fish odor from my Samsung dishwasher
A: I'm sorry to hear there's an odor in your dishwasher. Wiping around the edge of the door, including the bottom edge, and running empty cycles with vinegar periodically are an important part of maintaining the dishwasher. Selecting the Sanitize cycle to help eliminate odor-causing bacteria may also be helpful. If the drain hose is not installed properly, it's possible the dirty water is not draining thoroughly which could lead to an odor. Please refer to the attached image which is excerpted from the Installation Guide. A: Yes. I wanted to see the interior shots and only place I could find them is by searching by model number in one of the large hardware stores. There are additional pictures there.
A: Thanks for the question. I would suggest referring to page 18 of your DW7933LRASR User Manual to make sure you're adding the detergent to the correct compartment. If the detergent still isn't dissolving, please make sure there is nothing blocking the detergent door from opening (such as utensils), the incoming water temperature is set at a minimum of 120˚F, and the water pressure is between 20-120psi. A: I ran it into a seperate P trap under the sink with a 14" stack on it and it works fine.
