My dishes have never been cleaner now that I have had to hand wash them since my machine broke down. It will not run a cycle. This machine will not dry the dishes and barely washes them. After I called Samsung's service dept, I was offered a one year extended warrantee for 60% of the price of a new washer. Read the other one star reviews regarding the cost of repairs as well the number of repairs. That's the risk of buying this machine.

We looked at several dishwashers. This one just had the nicest design inside. The room it had and the space that it did not waste. It had a larger top rack that we needed. Some are so short on the top rack that you can't put much up there. We also liked the bar handle feature instead of the door handle style.

Shortly after purchase, got double flashing light error code which was not identified in the users manual. After much research, we found out that it meant that the side reservoir was full. The error is frequent and unwarranted. Technicians don't recommend this, as I read in quite a few blogs. Dishwasher is a waste of $500.

Do not buy this dishwasher. It is terrible. First started with poor performance in cleaning requiring our water heater to be turned way way up (per geeksquad recommendation). Now with scorching hot water and running the water in the sink prior to a cycle, it did an ok job of washing... Until the pan gasket started leaking causing the pump to run constantly. This was fixed under warranty. Now about 18 months in, another breakdown, this time the error code suggests a temperature senor, main board, and side case. Do yourself a favor and get a different dishwasher, this is worse than the 20 year old one that came with the house.

Bought this new less than 2 years ago. One service in warranty at 8 months. Replaced mother board along with other parts. now 8 months later, another call out of warranty and is gong to cost over 300.00 dollars to fix. This is not acceptable to me on a dish washer that cost over 700.00 dollars new. Do not buy this brand.

We installed our dishwasher and had problems after just four months. Since then, the dishwasher has broken down three times. Each repair took more than a month. Samsung has made the process long and tedious. After only seven months, our dishwasher is now broken for the 3rd time and Samsung will not replace it. We used to be ardent Samsung fans but will not buy another Samsung appliance. We have been advised by multiple appliance repair companies to stay away from Samsung appliances as they contain cheap parts and make the repair process difficult for both the consumer and the repair shop.

I am not sure why Best buy even sells this dishwasher. I have had it for a year and a half. It has only ran a complete cycle 3 months out of the year. Had warranty work done to it within the year now it still won't work and they want to charge me to have it repaired. I wouldn't buy another Samsung appliance again.

got it in july and broke after 5 months. called samsung for service and it has been more than a week, no 1 is calling back.

It doesn't clean. Period. Run away from this dishwasher. It's leaves food on, does not drain, and does not stay fixed. I am currently hand washing all my dishes.

Bought dishwasher in May 2014. Stopped working in August 2014 (90 days). Took 3 weeks (25+ phone calls and 3+ hours on the phone) to get someone out to look at it. Guy came out and said it was a defective unit and someone would call to get a replacement. Received no call ... I have been on the phone (on hold now) ALL morning and it is going to take at least 2 more weeks to get a new dishwasher. Samsung service has to be the worst service ever. Oh...and I'm up to 35 calls and 6 hours on the phone......but at least Best Buy is trying to do the right thing.....would give this dishwasher and Samsung 0 stars if I could!

Of course after one year after the warranty is up I get an error message. Dishwasher stops working Samsung won't do anything about it. Dishwasher doesn't clean very well. Brand new dishwasher was installed j to our new home. The bottom and door started to peel off. Stainless steel really? If you buy this product you better get the geek squad protection or you'll be screwed. All of people say the same thing. Product hits 12 months and stops working.

First one was damaged so Best Buy sent a second one. Second one was damaged as well. Arranged to pick up the second damaged unit but wouldn't process a refund until the item was picked back up and scanned in at their warehouse. At that point they would then take an additional 8 to 10 days to process my refund. What a waste of time and money and customer service folks didn't really care that I already wasted 2 weeks and am going to have to wait an additional 2 weeks to get my money back. I am glad their business is so good they don't care about customer service.

Started leaking after 14 months. No longer under warranty and I'm not paying 300+ to fix. At least it had a leak sensor so it shutdown and didn't ruin my kitchen floor.

First it did not clean the dishes very well. It left the plasticware really wet, like not even dried at all. Then it started leaking within a couple of months. I found out that this dishwasher is known for leaking. That turned out to be good for me because I exchanged it for an LG dishwasher, which is great. I do give Best Buy credit for exchanging the machines with no hassle.

My main concern is that it doesn't get all of the dishes clean. I have used various dishwashing detergents and use jet dry rinse aid. It leaves particles on about half of the glasses and dishes and leaves other discoloration from food on them. I can wipe off the discoloration easily with my finger when I take it out, so I would think it should be able to clean that. It doesn't matter where the dishes are; this happens on the top rack, bottom rack, edges, middle, not touching other dishes, full dishwasher, half-full dishwasher. I replaced a 15 year old cheap GE profile dishwasher from the original home build. I was surprised to see that the wash cycles on this new dishwasher are about 2 hours. that seemed really long, but maybe that's what dishwashers are like now. I also expected it to clean as well as my old one, but I was shocked that it is actually worse.

Purchased dishwasher 12/1/2013. Quit working within 60 days. Now 3/8/2015 same issue. Water leaks thru the motor and into a catch pan with a sensor to prevent long term water damage to floor. Motor or motor housing leaking again. Complete housing was replaced under warranty, now second one has failed and warranty no longer available. I would consider this a manufacture defect as it has happened to me twice. Will replace with another manufacturer.

This was the worst dishwasher I have ever had by FAR! Had it for two years at which my husband and I only started using a year and a half ago. Samsung customer service tried to help but couldn't figure out the problem. Which now leaves me with no dishwasher and my money down the drain. I have to buy ANOTHER dishwasher and will NEVER EVER look at another Samsung again. Unfortunately I own other appliances by them as well.

After less than a year and three months I have an error code where the normal and smart auto lights are blinking and it will not complete a cycle. From what I have been reading it could be a number of parts that need to be changed and probably expensive. Being just three months out of warranty I am not thrilled to say the least. Time to kick this thing to the curb and start looking for a new one. This time it will NOT be a Samsung.

Bought this Samsung dishwasher at Best Buy along with Samsung microwave, refrigerator and stove 19 months ago. Very poor quality dishwasher. Had to have repairman come out 3 months after Best Buy istallation. Broke again 11/30/2015. Gone! Do Not Buy This Appliance.
