I thought this DW was great until recently. Purchased 11/2013. March 2016 it quit working. After many calls to Samsung & several weeks later, repair came out and dx the printed circuit board needed replaced. After more than a few weeks, they came out and repaired. First time we used it, it stopped working 20 min into the wash cycle. The error code was the same code before the 1st repair. Repair came some days later (it's now late April) and said he would research it and give us a call with price to repair. At this point, we have paid $205.00 for repair. Sorry to say we did not buy the extended warranty since we believed that Samsung was a quality product and company. Well, we have since found out this is not the case. The following Tuesday we called repair since we had not heard from them. The total for that repair would be $346.00 for labor and part. That brings us to a total to repair this machine to a few dollars less than we paid for the unit which was $588.00. After several more calls to Samsung, finally one person said we should send an email to the Samsung president. I did this on May 13th. Today, May 22nd, we have not heard from anyone. So, I resent that email with an added note back to the president. Needless to say, we are not happy with Samsung or the DW. As an added note, when I started to hand wash my dishes, I realize what an horrible job the dishwasher had been doing. My silverware always looked dull and streaked...now it is, again, very shinny. Another jaw-dropping revelation was glass drinking glasses. I thought they were all etched from 3 1/2 years of dishwasher wear, but not true. The first time I wash one and it was crystal clear, I compared it to those that had not be hand washed yet and WOW...what a difference. So I can only determine that the dishwasher was doing a horrible job at getting my dishes clean. Other reviews had talked about mold in the bottom of the Dishwasher. Boy is that true! I would wipe out the bottom of the DW with Lysol wipes ever so often and would have to use 4 or 5 of these wipes to get it clean. Needless to say, we will NEVER buy a Samsung product again and advise others to do the same.

We purchased this dishwasher about eight months ago, and it has needed service three times since then! The service is very difficult to deal with....a long phone call and then you have to wait forty-eight hours for them to call you back just to schedule a time to come and fix it! By this point, I am so sick of washing the family's dishes! Once the repairman didn't come when he said he would, and that set us back another four days. I feel like we got a lemon with this dishwasher!

We've had this dishwasher break down 3 times since we bought it 18 months ago and each time it was a different issue. Thankfully it was under warranty however, it took forever to get an appointment with a repair guy and when he finally did arrive he didn't have the parts we needed so they had to be ordered which took weeks. Then we had to schedule another appointment for him to come out and install the new parts which again, took weeks. All told we were out a dishwasher over a month, all three times it broke. We asked them to just replace the dishwasher since it keeps breaking and they refused. So frustrating. I will never buy Samsung appliances again.

We bought a Samsung Suite of appliances three years ago from Best Buy and have had it serviced twice. It now has flashing lights and stops mid-cycle. Nothing comes out clean. Silverware has a film and spots, bowls have residue and all even having been pre-washed. Needless to say we will not be wasting anymore time and money on this dishwasher. Read the other reviews. It is exactly the same situation. This should be a product recall and Samsung should reimburse every customer for the original price AND the price to have them repaired. It is shameful and bad business.

This dishwasher has broken twice in less than two years. Each time it was an expensive circuit board that needed replaced, requiring a waiting period while the part was ordered of up to two weeks. The repair call and part cost about $350 (twice), so I have spent more on repairs than I did to buy it in the first place. Pick a different brand.

Four calls to Samsung in one year. Three were service calls, two had thrown codes and one was a loose part in the motor. This is way too much for one year. When it works, it does clean well.

I have bought SUMSUNG dishwasher SKU 1150152. The dish washer only works one time and broke. Guess what sumsang custom service solve the problem? IT IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. What a easy solution. I highly recommend staying away from sumsang product if you want to have a peaceful life.

We've had this dishwasher for 2 years now and it's never performed at the level of cheaper units. Frequently, anything pulled out after a cycle needs to be cleaned in the sink. So far the main control board has had to be replaced and it's out of commission again, awaiting repair. Avoid.

After much research I decided to purchase this dishwasher. Here are my observations. The dishes come out wet most times after the cycle has ended. The dishwasher is quite loud. The dishes don't smell so good at the end of the cycle. (For the first month they smelled really bad). But the worst thing about the machine is you select start and close the door and you see one of three indicator lights come on the face . You walk away thinking the unit has started. Sometimes you even hear it running and you come back a few hours later only to see that it hasn't run. So you have to shut it off and turn it back on. I. Just checked the owners manual and apparently there are codes on the keypad when the machine malfunctions (which is most times we use it). I am going to make note of which codes are flashing and notify samsung.

I feel this is a really poor product. Most appliance repair men say they won't even work on them. So, all you're left with is a Samsug certified repair center. My experience with the one in my area is sub-par at best and rude. I cannot recommend this appliance.

I bought this dishwasher together with other Samsung appliances for our new house. All other appliances we bought are working perfectly except this one. It does not drain properly. We wash our dishes during the night and our dishes are still wet the following morning. I did a research and it seems like many are having this kind of problem. I am glad that I am an ElitePlus member and we can still exchange this dishwasher. I really hate to let this dishwasher go because I like the design but I don't want to deal with warranty especially that it's not even a month old. Exchanged it with LG brand.

repairman said repair would cost $400. Dishwasher died just 14 months after purchase. Design flaw creates algae in hoses and case needs replacement. Would never buy Samsung appliances again, very sad.

We've had this product 6 months and NEVER had a clean load. Best Buy/Samsung repair people have been to the house six times and it still leaves grime on dishes. I was told today by a repair person that these are dish sanitizers, not dish washers - and we need to thoroughly rinse the dishes before I load. This is not what I was sold. I was sold a dish washer that washed dishes. Worse, the repair person replaced a part that had nothing to do with the cleaning problem that he identified was going to go out in the next several months. Samsung technical support people have been nice but have not resolved the issue. Their stance when it went to escalation is that it has not been through enough repair cycles yet. Our previous dishwasher worked fine. We just want a dishwasher we spent quite a bit more money on to work.

In my opinion, this dishwasher is awful. It was quiet on the first couple of loads, but now it's loud and the noise sounds like metal grinding. I do not recommend this dishwasher.

No one repairs Samsung appliances in our area. They cant get parts from Korea. Samsung is good at TVs and Phones but stay clear of their appliances especially this dishwasher.

I would not recommend this dishwasher. I have had it for less than 4 months and had it serviced 2 times for a drain sensor sensor issue that can't be permanently fixed and Samsung does not view this as an issue, they think it is ok to keep fixing the same problem. Although it is very quiet it does not dry the dishes entirely. I would buy a Bosch or a frigidaire instead.

Save yourself money, time, and hours of frustration: DO NOT BUY this piece of junk. Within 3 months the drying function stopped working and the soap dispenser doesn't always open. The repairman couldn't fix the problems and when I reported this to Samsung I was given the runaround. Long story short, I have a new (3 month old) Samsung dishwasher that doesn't dry my dishes and sometimes doesn't even wash my dishes and Samsung isunwilling to stand by their product. DO NOT BUY---DO NOT BUY---DO NOT BUY---DO NOT BUY

I literally can not even describe how terrible this dishwasher is. First off, I have had this dishwasher for about 4 months and I have NEVER opened a clean cycle and had all dishes clean. Please note, we also barely fill the thing! This last cycle a coffee mug came out still dirty, coffee mug! What I hate most about it is the FOUL smell when you open it. If there are 3 dirty plates in this thing, you open it and of it smells like dead fish! Mine dishwasher is going on craiglist and we will start over. Steer clear!!!

I bought this dishwasher 3-4 weeks ago and it does not work. It does not dry the dishes and it does not drop the soap. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get Samsung to repair it, and have just gotten more and more frustrated. They just transfer me from person to person telling me to "trouble shoot myself", when that doesn’t work I have to start again. Then after at least 5 hours of being on the phone in two days, I was finally was granted permission to have a repair person dispatched to my house. They scheduled an appointment for the repair, for which I took a day off work. On the day of the appointment I waited and waited and when no one ever showed up, I got on the phone and waited yet another hour for a customer service rep who told me my ticket had been closed out and I had to start the process over. When I call the tech number it just goes to a voicemail and no one ever calls back. Their customer service is reason enough not to buy! Unless you are bored, like to be frustrated and listen to hold music BEWARE!!!

I purchased this dishwasher 3 months ago. It is worthless. It does not clean dishes, remove food particles that have been on for less than an hour, regardless of the mode used. I have used all modes, different dishwasher soaps, rinse aids, etc. (It was professionally installed.) Nothing works. Samsung "customer support" is non-existent. You cannot get someone out to fix it. I have tried for two of those months to get someone out. There is an endless line of offshore phone answerers who can't help, can't get someone out to look at it, and eventually transfer or disconnect you. I am on hold with them right now. I have filed a complaint with our state's Consurmer Protection division and my next step is to stop payment on the credit card to force the seller to take it back. Don't buy this! there are plenty of other brands which actually will clean your dishes!
