This is the true story of How Best Buy Stole Christmas. I bought my first home and spent thousands of dollars on new refrigerator, stove and microwave. Told my family living in the continental USA that they could fly to Puerto Rico and come stay with me so we can spend Christmas together. The new 4 bedroom house is packed. All good, my Best Buy delivery was set for the 22nd, the day they arrived at night. I reconfirmed by telephone. I received an email the 21st reminding me to have everything set for the next day. My poor 70 year old parents were willing to stay at my house, waiting for the delivery while I worked. Time went on, no call, no time estimate. I call between meeting begging for a time estimate so that my parents can relax. I get put on hold. They sound very confused and tell me that there seems to be a mistake. The system knows my delivery is today but the people actually delivering have no clue of my appointment. What? Wait. How is this even possible?
So needless to say Im like: nooo, come one this can’t be, I have all this family coming with medications that need to be refrigerated, and just the basic need for food and beverage at home FOR CHRISTMAS. Its not like the outdoors was an option for keeping food and beverage cold, Puerto Rico is eternal summer. I beg and plead for help… they say that maybe they can get me a mini fridge delivered or something to tie you over, they promise to call back. They never called. I called again the 23rd. There is nothing they can do - sad mistake. Sad mistake that means reservations at restaurants that are completely booked for Christmas, people that had to check into a hotel and spend thousands of dollars during the most expensive season from one day to the next, to make sure they handled their medications safely. And a whole family celebration and house warming that was completely stolen from us with complete lack of empathy. The delivery goes on the books for the 30th. The 26th randomly a delivery guys calls and says “Hey Im from best buy and have your refrigerator, can I come to the house now?” I was pleasantly surprised said yes, had my mother go to the home and the people arrived and unloaded a refrigerator that was not in its box. Once inside the house my mother hears the delivery guy say “whoa, look at that damage”. My mother catapulta towards them and sees a deeeeeeeep crater on the front door of this refrigerator. The men were not polite nor understading as soon as they arrived and looked at my mom looking at the crater and says “so maybe you dont want to sign for this hu?” My mom says they should take it away. My sister in law calls best buy for me and says that now my delivery for the 30th is also not shown on the system. I call the system hung up on me twice without ever reaching an actual person, Crazy how that happens after you buy, not before you buy… so by dar this has been the most demoralizing and expensive Christmas of my life and my family’s. I am upset, angry, sad and incredibly frustrated with the lack of efficiency and work ethic. In an added note: the stove is now not backordered until FEBRUARY. Thanks for nothing Best Buy is has been a complete HORROR doing business with you.

Purchased a couple of months ago. Delivery and set up guys were amazing! The fridge is spacious and works fine EXCEPT the ice dispenser on the door is terrible. You wait forever and it's slow. There is an ice maker in the freezer otherwise we would've returned it.

We are really liking this new refrigerator. We've always had a side by side so weren't sure if we'd like it, but we are pleasantly surprised at how much we do. Access to our food is so much better. Also the extra ice makers on this refrigerator are amazing. The original in door model of ice maker is also much better than the side by side ones in the Samsung line.
