This Refrigerator is sleek looking and has fingerprint resistant stainless steel which makes it look nice all the time without just having to be cleaned up. The water / ice dispenser in the door is nice for those that are refilling water all the time. Large space inside the fridge on both sides makes it easy to organize your refrigerator and keep all of your food fresh and easy to get at. It's a big refrigerator size wise, so make sure your measure your space so that you know it will fit. Don't know about the longevity as only had it for about 6 weeks, but seems like every 5 years we need a new fridge and this one is very nice!

We have owned this refrigerator freezer for around two months it works great. We really like it. Small icemaker works fine, non-adjustable shelves, but they are spaced very nicely. We didn’t really need to adjust them. We got the stainless steel model looks great, of course it’s not real stainless steel but the color and ease of cleaning is very attractive. The sides are a medium to dark grey color, so just the front is a stainless steel color The controls on the refrigerator allow you to boost the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer to make it colder than the setting allows in The normal setting in case you have had the refrigerator freezer doors open for a long time. That helps the temperatures recoup quicker. I believe the normal settings go as low as 34° in the refrigerator And 8° below in the freezer. looks like a pretty well thought out refrigerator freezer. I think most of the flaws they had in the past have been dealt with at least that’s my opinion. Water dispenser and icemaker work well in my opinion. It helps to use a spatula or something to push the ice away from the edge of the opening of the icemaker every once in a while to make sure there is not a damming of ice in that area. There is no light in the water dispenser area but if you are intent on a light, you can buy a motion detector light and put it next to the dispenser part there is room for a thin one which you can buy pretty much anywhere fairly cheap so stated another customer in the reviews that I read. We have a well lit kitchen, so it really doesn’t bother us. Our previous refrigerator freezer only lasted about 5 1/2 to 6 years and didn’t really keep things cold, but this refrigerator freezer with it’s all around cooling works well in my opinion. So I would give it five stars, very happy with it so far.

We bought this fridge when our old one stopped cooling properly. The old one would have been almost as expensive to repair as this unit was to purchase on sale, so we figured we couldn't go wrong. And we didn't. Overall, this has been a nice refrigerator for us. The temperature is fairly consistent in both the freezer and refrigerator compartments. It's quiet and seems relatively energy efficient. The filtered water which we drink from it is delicious. The capacity is just right for our family. The only very unfortunate thing about this unit is that the ice maker is, shall we say, absolutely horrible. It makes ice at what seems to be the rate of 17 cubes per century (an exaggeration, to be sure, but one which conveys how much we absolutely dislike the ice maker in this freezer). I'm not sure there are a lot of great ice makers in side-by-side refrigerators, but this one has to be nearly the worst. We had to purchase a countertop ice maker to supplement the poor ice delivery in this system. Other than that small gripe, though, we would totally recommend this refrigerator.

This is our 2nd time purchasing a Samsung fridge. We are extremely pleased with everything about this particular model. It looks great on the outside and performs perfectly on the inside. It's so quite! There is lots of space on both sides. Pizza boxes fit on the freezer shelves with no problem. It's well designed. Only 2 things I would have preferred are an extra drawer on the fridge side and a light for the water dispenser. Highly recommend this model!

Very well-built fridge! Uses the new R600 refrigerant and it cools down fast! It was reaching its set temp within a couple hours of plugging it in. But the cons outweighed the pros for me.
Pros:
It's quiet! You can barely hear this thing running. The fans quietly kick on and off to recirculate the air throughout the day and the compressor ramps up if more cold air is needed. The all-around cooling is nice, the air just kinda comes from everywhere.
Ice maker is very compact, and the cubes are a nice size. Water dispenser has the highest flow rate of seen! Fills bottles quickly and the touch controls are simple and sleek with a satisfying chime when pressed.
The build quality of this thing rivals much more expensive fridges (I became more familiar with this than I should have having looked at several in person). The fit and finish is good, no sloppy assembly here. The doors have a good feel to them and close with a solid 'thud'. The core of this fridge seems very well designed and the cooling system seems like it'll last a long time. This is how fridges used to be built!
Cons:
The handle-less doors make the fridge a little more imposing depth-wise. This can be very noticeable in tight spaces. The handles are difficult to get used to. You’ll have to train yourself to use the right hand to open the left door and the left hand to open the right otherwise you’ll be awkwardly twisting your wrists.
The LED lighting is poor, it only emits from the top which means as soon as you fill the fridge, the light to the lower shelves gets blocked. I feel like stuff will easily get lost in the lower spaces. The lighting situation is disappointing since our 10-year-old fridge had lights throughout.
Shelves are not adjustable so you better like the placement; soda bottles must go in the door.
Icemaker is very slow at producing ice (a byproduct of its compact size I suppose), if you use a lot of it, you may find yourself running out. The water dispenser doesn’t have a light! I didn’t know how much I’d miss this until I was spraying water on my feet in the middle of the night. Speaking of the dispenser, the nozzle is too far forward, it’s easy for it to miss the glass or bottle completely if the opening is on the smaller side.
No deli drawer! This seems to be a theme with modern fridges, but I’m not a fan. I don’t like just tossing ham and bags of cheese on the shelves willy nilly…
Conclusion:
If you want a fridge that performs its core purpose of reliably keeping food cold for many years, this is the one to get! But if you’re used to a more conventional fridge, look elsewhere.

Extra Large Value Fridge with Flaws

We wanted the largest refrigerator we could get for the price. This came in as a great value refrigerator by a good brand name. We love that it looks like Stainless but it isn't because you can stick magnets on the front. We love how large it is and it is very roomy.
It was a great value for our money. The freezer works nicely.
Because this is a value model, there are minimal adjustments to door shelving.
Our biggest disappointment is that Samsung brags about how evenly this refrigerator distributes the cold air. That is not true! We have used a pair of refrigerator thermometers to figure out which shelves are going to freeze our food items. Unfortunately there is enough temperature difference in 2 places in the refrigerator that items there will freeze. We have taken out a gallon of milk and meat that was partially frozen with ice. So we just learned that we could not put milk in that particular spot. It seems no matter what they claim, the cold air is not distributed evenly in the refrigerator. You will have to use thermometers to figure out where the frozen spots are in your refrigerator. I know this is a common problem inherit to refrigerator designs. But for a brand to brag about how evenly their model cools.....we found that not to be true at all. In our old fridge, it dumped all of the frozen air through one spot at the top of refrigerator. So you knew the top shelf was the coldest and might freeze the milk. Samsung added a change to that model by having multiple vents that dump freezing cold air into the refrigerator, which sounds great. But they actually created several spots that will freeze your milk or food items solid.
The other flaw is the limited ice maker size. We only have 3 people in our family so it is adequate for us, but if you had 4 or more people using ice, it would definitely not be enough ice. The ice maker is contained in the freezer door so it does not have a very large bin to hold ice.
With that all said, I would buy this again because of the price and good value. If I could find a different brand that did not freeze my milk, I would go with that one.

I feel like I‘ve been upgraded to state of the art luxury,I am so happy and excited with my new Samsung refrigerator I keep going into the kitchen and admiring it.This fridge cools every corner evenly with the all around cooling my sodas, milk, and soft drinks are chilled perfectly every time. There is so much storage space in this fridge with the Fridge drawers you can fit all your vegetables and then some. The door bins are big enough to fit large items like two gallons of milk or a few two liter soda and so much more. The fingerprint resistant makes it makes a huge difference with the ease of cleaning off prints or smudges,The interior led lighting is perfectly balanced for a great all around illumination. The freezer also has a drawer perfect to store franks or sausages The freezer has more than enough space to hold all thatI need,The ice maker has the selection of cubed ice or crushed ice I am so happy and a proud owner of a Samsung refrigerator.

I replaced a similarly sized fridge with this one when my freezer failed. The space saving ice maker definitely works, and it definitely saves space. I seem to have a LOT more room in both the refrigerator and the freezer. Temperature holds steady. I love the clean look. It's very easy to clean (inside and out). If I could ding it a half of a star, it would be because there is no light in the water/ice dispenser. BUT—that area of the dispenser is SUPER easy to clean any spills. There are no nooks & crannies for water to hide in.

There is so much room in this fridge and freezer! I am enjoying all this space that can accommodate my food and drink. I love the clean look with no handles on the front. It's very slick. The ice maker can be messy when dispensing out ice but the water and ice taste good thanks to the filter. The lighting inside is good not too dim if you have your top shelves full. The temperature in both the fridge and freezer are good. I freezes and cools super well.

This was a great purchase, we're very happy. Fits the space perfectly. And most importantly, the price point is very favorable for what you get.
Pros:
- Lots of space. Hard to find a bigger fridge/freezer anywhere near this price (there are a few that are 2.5" deeper but more expensive)
- Cools well
- Love the simplicity of the 3 water buttons: water and two ice settings (with a child lock feature). I hate staring at people's expensive fridges with 10 buttons to read through to figure out just how to get water dispensed.
- Precise temp control is great function (on the inside fridge) so you don't have to guess on a dial like the old fridge's.
- Easiest doors I've ever removed on a fridge/freezer for getting through doorways
Cons:
- Compressor is surprisingly loud
- Freezer not very wide (this is just a side-by-side issue as opposed to the bottom-freezer types, I'm not deducting from the product rating itself for this of course), can't fit large frozen pizzas; we got a separate chest freezer for the bigger things
- Removing the water lines while removing the doors was a huge pain. Manual says to be careful not to break as you compress the fitting by hand for removal, but I'm a strong guy and it was basically impossible to do it by hand. Had to use pliers and the fittings were, of course, damaged in the process. Very unfortunate. Why couldn't they just use the easy-disconnect click-in fittings for a few bucks more?
- Others have noted that the shelving/drawers are cheap plastic and you can't adjust height of shelves in the fridge. This is all true. It is really only a matter of time before one of the shelves breaks. And really annoying that we can't adjust the height of the fridge shelves.
- Also really annoying - there is room for an additional freezer door shelf. But it was not included. So it's just wasted space. Why? Could be because there is a drawer in the freezer at the bottom, but it looks to me like there's plenty of room for a shelf on the door too. I'd like another shelf but not sure how to get one. Seems silly.
- Wheels are AWFUL and sharp edges. We moved it a few feet to put it in place, doing our best to lift if up while slightly turning it to angle it correctly. And it managed to completely gauge and rip up a big hole on our sheet vinyl kitchen floor. It's not just ripped, but it's badly stretched so not able to be glued back down into place. Now we have to replace the whole kitchen floor since we can't find a patch for this particular sheet vinyl, ugh. You shouldn't have to precisely angle it and set it down in place just to avoid damaging your floor, why not a few extra bucks for some better rollers that won't destroy a vinyl floor?
- Doors don't open and close on their own as you might expect, despite leveling.

Great replacement for a 13 year old refrigerator that broke down unexpectedly. To be totally honest, I was not able to do as much research as usual with this purchase - I was limited to what items were in stock and could be delivered the soonest. This fit that requirement but I am very happy with the purchase. The refrigerator is very large - ample room for everything. A few things to note: The shelves are not able to be rearranged so we now put milk, juice, 2 liter bottles in the door (we used to put them on the top shelf). The crisper drawers are very large - great for keeping things fresh. The freezer shelves also are fixed and are very deep - I really like the height of the top shelf. One drawback is the ice maker - it doesn’t hold much ice….we actually have a separate ice container on the top shelf so we don’t run out of ice.
Other than the small ice capacity- I would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

I originally wanted the counter-depth version of this refrigerator, and would still rather have that, but due to lack of availability I went with the larger model. Outside of being standard depth, it's the same fridge.
It works well, it's quiet, the drawers slide in and out easily without sticking. Plenty of storage space on the doors of the fridge and freezer. You can't adjust the shelves on the doors, which is a bit of a drawback, but not a dealbreaker. The dispensed water is cold (not all refrigerators accomplish this) and the ice dispenser works well for both cubed and crushed.
One feature I enjoy with this refrigerator is the handles. I really like that the handles are on the underside of the door rather than sticking out in front of it. Being fingerprint resistant is also a huge plus. It just seems to stay cleaner longer.
All in all, a very affordable and efficient refrigerator. I would definitely buy again.

This is fridge is quite perfect all the way around. The stainless is flawless . It also does not have that pesky clear wrap protection film that is hidden under any of the trim so it comes off super easy. The led lighting looks very nice and indeed does light up the fridge quite a lot as well as the freezer. The shelves all the way around are huge and deep even on doors . Having no handles on the doors gives a nice very sleek design look , while also allowing to fit through most front doors without any hassles. The ice/water dispenser also has a sleek non stick / water repellent coating so this makes for an easy clean up compared to any other fridges i have had or seen, so none of those hard to clean water deposits . I put the fridge and freezer at 1 deg. Level higher than the recommended because I read another review stating it was to cold and some items in fridge would freeze on top shelf. This is NOT TRUE . After 2 hours it was at its temp levels chosen and after 3 days of using fridge , i found it could be a lil colder and the recommended settings are actually perfect . The fridge also has a ( turbo cool ) function on the control panel which allows it to rapid cool quicker . Since i had to have no sit time of fridge being stood up , while allowing all the freon to settle before plugging in , i was able to test this and it reached its temps in 2 hours instead of the estimated 3 hours . It does work well for cooling off rapidly during leaving the doors open while ur loading a bunch of groceries in its massive storage spaces , so that it can cool quicker . Water filter is easily accessible at the bottom of the fridge side location . I also do like the size and shape of the ice , as its about a 1 inch x 1 inch cube . Our family loves this fridge compared to our 25cf we had before it seems so much bigger . So love it and would buy it again easily depending on how long it last.

This Samsung refrigerator is extremely quiet. Simple, sleek design. Standard size refrigerator with no protruding handles. Ample room for all the food/drink needed for my family of four (2 teenagers, a college student, and an adult) & their friends! No dripping from the combined water/ice dispenser (including crushed ice!). Temperature controls are located inside the refrigerator door. Controls can be locked so little hands can't tamper with the temp settings. Setup was smooth and the team cleaned up all trash & inspected the unit to ensure there was no damage - Bonus: they contacted me early in the day and were able to deliver 15 min prior to the 2-hour delivery window first scheduled. Very happy with the purchase & very happy with the delivery team!

This refrigerator has been great! Plenty of space to put our food and drinks, haven’t had a single issue. One thing that I would change is the timer for the ice dispenser. When you push your cup in for ice you have to hold it there for around 3 seconds before ice starts to drop. Not a deal breaker when you look at the total package.

This is the fridge of my dreams...not really, but almost. It is large and incredibly spacious; that being said, definitely measure multiple times to ensure it will fit through the doorway. I love the digital temperature controls (we had a small basic fridge prior so this is a BIG deal to me). Plus it holds the ridiculous amount of groceries I have to buy for my teenager daughter and two boys. It is quiet, very sleek, and cleans up beautifully. Obviously, I am quite happy with my purchase!
