Good sound but system flaws

It is very clear and it sounds good with both regular TV, movies, and music. The downfall of this product is the way Samsung has it programmed. I could not get it to work with my Sony TV by using the HDMI for sound and picture. It would work the first time plugged in and started up and then once turned off and back on, it was a no go. I called Samsung, they told me it was a faulty device so I went back and got another, only to find that I had the same problem with a new one. If you switched between the different outputs and back to HDMI, it still didn't work. The only way to get this system to work is to use an optical cable for sound and direct HDMI from satellite to the TV. It still works but you shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops to get an HDMI to flow all the time. Unless you want to have the same issues as me, I would not purchase this product unless you know for sure it will always work with your TV.

Because you had the same issue with two different units, I suspect that the soundbar is not the cause.
I would recommend:
1) Trying different HDMI cables
2) Updating the software on your TV
3) Contacting the TV manufacturer for troubleshooting
