One remote can operate both sound bar and tv. Paired to my Samsung S9+ through the smart things app and listen to internet radio stations seamlessly. Sound quality is good as well. Con:- At low volume the voice is not as pronounced as when you raise the volume to about 25- 30db I am satisfied with my purchase and I will recommend this product.
