I bought this as and open box item. I took it home to set it up and there was no remote. I called my Besybuy and they hooked me up with a programmable logitech remote that worked flawlessly. Thanks again Bestbuy!!!

Thank you for sharing your review of the HW-Q70R Samsung Harman Kardon Soundbar with Dolby Atmos. The HW-Q70R provides 3-dimensional sound from 3 front-firing channels, 2 up-firing channels, and deep bass from the dedicated woofer for true 3.1.2ch sound. Our proprietary Samsung Acoustic Bean Technology further amplifies audio enjoyment.
I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with overall performance.
It has come to our attention that customers may be positioning the soundbar incorrectly, resulting in low volume or poor sound quality. The soundbar should be placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the Soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when you sit), you will experience muffled or low quality sound.

Setup was fast. HDMI arc used for the tv. Turn on the tv and it defaults to the sound bar. The volume is controlled with my tv remote. You can fine tune a few things with the app. Also, I can have my echo dot play music on this. Perfect for us!!!
