The sound bar sounds great. The atmos effect is great in the bedroom and you don't really need to add the surround sound speakers. Sounds surprisingly well playing music as well.

Planned on buying Bose 500 then I heard this one on display. Very pleased with the sound at home. Ended up going back to buy another one while they were on sale for Black Friday

This soundbar is the perfect match for the newer Samsung 4k TV. Only down side is it is difficult to get the sound output to match the taking on the TV. Feels like your are watching a subtitled move.

I have had quite the experience trying to find a soundbar that contains Dolby Atmos capabilities and works with and Xbox One X and Vizio TV. I tried an LG SL8YG and had issues with Google Assistant. I tried two of these soundbars and neither one would give me picture or audio through the ARC connection. I really struggled to have consistent sound on my TV as well, but the few times I could have it working, it sounded great...for 20 seconds or so. This expensive soundbar is not worth the money. They upcharge because it has Dolby Atmos, but actually getting Atmos to work is near impossible. I have now upgraded to the Nakamichi 7.1.4, and so far, have not had any issues! It sounds great, came in cheaper than the Samsung and LG, and their tech support answers the phone immediately. LG told me I was out of luck, and Samsung offered to send a technician out to work on my 1-day old Soundbar. Neither solutions were acceptable to me. If you're planning on hooking up an external device to this soundbar, BEWARE! Additionally, the in-home specialist told me that they hook this soundbar up with Optical, however, a quick Google Search will quickly reveal that Dolby Atmos can only transmit through HDMI. Optical will allow this soundbar to work just fine, but it will not give you the most expensive feature you are paying for. Don't buy just because of the name.

Very easy to install using the ARC port on the Samsung TV.. Easy to customize sounds... Little trouble syncing the delays on lip sinking... Switched to PCM and it's OK now

I have owned several surround and theater sound systems over the years and this one is by far the best.The Atmos technology produces a surround sound that is hard to beat.

I was in need of a sound bar that would pass 4K HDR. This sound bar does that at a reasonable price. It was easy to set up. The only negative is that it has only one HDMI input.

We bought for 65 inch Samsung TV It's excellent product. With this soundbar, TV performance is much better. Enjoying to watch movie on TV with the soundbar.

Bought this to replace old soundbar that wasn't HDCP 2.2 compliant. While its definitely impressive over what I previously owned I am thinking about exchanging it for either the Q80 or Q90.

Samsung’s Q70 soundbar has paired perfect with my Samsung TV, makes movie viewing and video games even more enjoyable. Little pricey but worth it with a discount

We love the sound, it’s clear and has the surround we like. The only problem is the sound keeps fluctuating in and out. It’s a bit frustrating.

This Samsung soundbar delivered! The multi HK speakers and subwoofer makes for a great system and at a great price. The team as BB were very helpful in this selection.

It is phenomenal for movies. Great highs and lows. Not intended for music. Buy a JBL portable speaker for music. Harman kardon and Samsung hit a home run with this. I bought the Q70.

I purchased this product to be set up with my Samsung Q60 - 82 inch model TV. While it was easy to install and use, the sound constantly cut out. I was surprised because I thought that purchasing another Samsung product would allow for the ease of compatibility. I attempted to troubleshoot the issue by updating the firmware of the soundbar and still no success. I am pretty good with tech and couldn't figure out why it constantly cut out. I was using the HDMI-ARC feature, since I had several devices that I wanted to utilize. I also contacted Samsung support via phone and it was not helpful in any way. I also added the SmartThings app to attempt to access more settings. However, no matter what settings I changed it always ended up cutting out while watching Netflix or using my PS4. On a positive note, if this product does manage to work with your TV, it sounds amazing and I thought the quality was great for the six days that I attempted to use it.

My Samsung sound bar is wonderful. It works very well with my TV and has great sound quality for voice and music.

My dog gets really scared of the noises because it sounds so lifelike. He tilts his head at dogs. He hides in the corner at explosions and thunder.
