Very poor dialogue performance!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an honest review of this soundbar. Why this review matters to you the consumer. I've tried multiple different sound bars some in Dolby atmos and some not in Dolby atmos. Watched a lot of reviews on YouTube as well! Plus I've read alot of reviews as well... I'm someone who wants quality first as well as staying with in a budget. Reviews have helped me in the past hope this helps you. Positives: 1:) Descent Dolby atmos experience for a small room (bedroom, small living room or a home theater room). 2:) Good bass with included subwoofer. Much better than the 2018 Lg subwoofers included with their soundbars. You'll feel it :) 3:( good for music but, that's about it. The bad: 1:) the dialogue on this sound bar is terrible. The back round noise from intense action scenes will drown it out. When there is not alot of action going on or in a completely quiet scene you'll find yourself turning up the volume to try and decipher the dialogue. 2:( the fidelity of the sound for movies and TV shows sounds flat! Theres noise coming from it. That's it just noise! You loose out on the movie or TV show you're trying to enjoy. BOTTOM LINE. If you're someone who wants to be immersed in high fidelity sound and be able to hear the dialogue clearly. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS SOUND BAR! What I'd recommend for the same amount of money is the Bose 700! Granted no subwoofer and Dolby atmos! Doesnt need it either though! Immersive High fidelity room filling sound you can hear clearly with out subtitles lol! Take it home for a listen you wont be disappointed! Trust me! If you don't like it return it. Far better than this though.

To improve your experience, press the Sound Mode button on your remote control and select Adaptive Sound. In Adaptive Sound mode, the Soundbar analyzes the content and volume to optimize the audio rendering resulting in clearer dialog.

Sub won't connect. Tried everything.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My wireless subwoofer will not connect (right out of the box) with the soundbar. Even with the "Manual" connection method mentioned in the full online manual, it still will not connect. I just get a constant blue blinking LED. The subwoofer is 5ft away from the soundbar, so it is not a distance thing. Then spent an hour in a live chat with a Samsung "Care Pro" in the "Soundbar" department. Nothing suggested by the person was anything I hadn't already tried before. Nothing suggested helped. I went to try a firmware update as a last-ditch effort and the "Service" port is a micro-USB port. All of my USB drives are typical USB "type A". So now I have to go buy a "male micro-USB to female USB-type A" adapter (an OTG cable) just to see if this firmware update works before I package all of this back up and drag it through Best Buy's front door. Lots of fun...

No picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HDMI Arc doesn’t work. I have been testing out Soundbars and this is probably number 7. This is the first Soundbar with no picture using HDMI only sound. Every other Soundbar has been plug and play. This thing is defective and going back to the store. Even if I got one that worked I’m not convinced it would stay that way. I was really hoping this was the one I would keep. I spoke with technical support that was insistent it was the settings on my tv. I tried the Samsung q60r as well with no issue.
