When you want the big sound this soundbar system by Samsung delivers...until you have to reset it. Sometimes after watching TV for an extended period of a few hours the sound starts to break-up as if it was put of range. Except it's hardwired with the optical cable provided by the manufacturer. To fix it, I just turn it off, wait a second or two and turn it back on. Works every time. If it weren't for that issue of gove it 5 stars. Great sound.

The latest large tv's do not come with speakers on the front side of the screen, but are put on the back side for supposedly lighter tv weight advantages. Muddled sound results in having to buy a sound bar.to compensate for this deficiency. The subwoofer that comes with the sound bar is practically useless as to giving any significant base volume. It is extreme low frequency base volume. The sound bar attachment bracket manufacturer Rocket Fish that is sold by Best Buy for this purpose does not attach to the back of the Samsung 55 inch. I returned it. The solution is to buy 2 largest size zip ties at HD, and this will allow zip tying the sound bar right up snug to the underside of the tv just by using the existing wall mounting bracket rods at the back of the tv.

Came to buy a sound bar for my dad as a Father’s Day gift and he was not disappointed! Kristian helped us pick the right soundbar. 3.1 instead of 2.1. There’s definitely no bringing the volume up and down with the center speaker. Super good and loud for entertaining. Easy to set up as well!

The quality of my new Samsung 3.1 sound bar is fantastic. The sub woofer has great bass and sound.

If your looking to get speakers for clarity this is it, loud when it comes to movies. Sound is clear when people are speaking in tv shows or movies, bass is not so great if your looking more for bass. I was looking for a center speaker that delivers clear sound.

Not to bad, the sub could be a little more powerful but overall performance of the product is good

I recommend this soundbar to anyone who wants a real theater experience.

Fine with Samsung TV. Automatically syncs. Auto on/off,

I bought the M550 earlier this year from Best Buy and was good for my Master Bedroom. I went back this week to get something a step better and salesman told me the system closest to the M550 was the N550. BAD INFO! The N550 has a smaller subwoofer than the one I already had. Sub is weak.

First time buying a sound bar with subwoofer. I had narrowed choice down to two modes: Klipsch RSB-11 and this Samsung model. I purchased the Samsung first, with the thought of returning and buying the more expensive Klipsch model if I wasn’t happy with the Samsung. The setup was extremely easy and pairing was also very easy. Sound is very clear/clean; subwoofer does its job but it’s not going to shake your house or disturb the neighbors (at least I doubt that - highest I have taken the volume is 30). For the price, quality and the ease of setup and pairing - I believe this was a great purchase for our needs (family of 4, 2 toddlers). Sports, movies and tv shows all sound great; playing music from your phone also sounds great.

We have had problems hearing the words and voices on programs often due to loud music in the background. Plus the quality of the sound for music from CD's was not great. With the help of the Sales Associate who pointed out the big difference of a 3.1 sound bar providing the middle speakers in addition to the speakers at each end of a 2.1 bar. These middle speakers greatly help to improve the clarity of speech and the ability to understand what is being said.. As to value & performance, the Samsung 3.1 was his recommendation and the stores best selling sound bar was the best price as we purchased it on sale due to a Labor Day sale. Very happy with our purchase & highly recommend it. Wish we had purchase sooner.

One day in, so take this with a grain of salt. Did a lot of research then went and listened to each at store. Klipsch blew everything away, but at 2X+ Price this Samsung was the easy backup choice. Would have gone for the 5.1 but they were out of it for $50 more. Clear dialogue, easy set up, great sound. No longer pumping up the volume to hear people talking. Contrary to store associate, Polk is NOT the only product with a center channel. Samsung delivers on that as well. So far, great soundbar at a great Black Friday price.

I bought this sound bar to replace a Bose 321 sound system that I purchased at BestBuy years ago for $1,000. The Bose system was very hard to hook up and be able to be used with my tv, cable company and also my PlayStation and many issues arose over the years. I purchased this Samsung sound bar to be used with my Samsung “dumb” tv, my U-verse cable and my PlayStation4. Installation was a breeze and works flawlessly, and even works in conjunction with my U-verse remote! The sound quality is at least as good if not BETTER as the Bose system including the bass!

Purchased this soundbar yesterday. It was very easy to setup with my Samsung tv. It has great sound, just wish the sub had a little more kick to it. Overall very pleased with it.

I bought this sound bar system to go with a new 55" Samsung LED TV, replacing an OLD Bose stereo system. The sound quality is VERY good. I do wish it had a little more control over the various types of sound though. When watching movies that switch a lot between loud action scenes and quiet scenes with dialogue, the dialogue can be very loud to hear. If you turn the system up to hear the dialogue better, then the next action scene is way too loud. Other than that I do love it and much better than my ancient Bose system.

Very good sound overall, clear dialogue. Bass is a little weak on the sub. Would not pay full price $400 but good value for sale price of $230.
