We have had the stove for about 10 months now. It has been amazing. It cooked like a dream. The oven was also seriously cool too. It finished off food like no oven I ever owned before. It is hard to describe, but even store bought tasted better when baked in this oven. Perhaps it is the convection, I don't know.
Today, I was cooking some popcorn (something I do regularly as it doesn't burn like on electric ranges) and all the sudden the stove went dark. I checked the breaker and it had been tripped. I reset it. The stove started to beep. The display did not come completely on, only partially. It gave an E-84 (Error 84). As I search the web, my stomach is sinking as this is the code for frustration ahead. I have to call Samsung which is not a fun thing. So... This review may get updated to rosey, or downgraded based on the service experience. But from what I am reading, this is usually a bad sign.

I was amazingly surprised to find this unit as a floor model at Best Buy one day past Black Friday. Needed new stove/oven and could not beleive the affordability of this model. Sale price of $450.00 for this type of high end quality stove was almost too good too be true. Oven works amazing, looks fantastic, and price couldn't be beat !!! Just feel bad for the ones that paid 2k + dollars for. Only Bad part was I had to buy steel pans to work with this unit; but thats not the worst problem in the world =)

Okay so this is my second review. The first one was a 5 star this one will not be as good. I still love the oven it bakes and roasts beautifully. The cook top has been a nightmare. Several service calls. 6 weeks now with elements not working correctly. Now Samsung engineers are tells us it is my cookware. Even if the cookware says induction or induction ready - it doesn't mean that it will work on Samsung. They have told us that we must purchase all CAST IRON cookware. WHAT - NOWHERE in their owners manual does it say that.At this point I just want to go back to gas. I'm tired of playing the "Let's see if the pan will work today" game every time I want to cook. Would I recommend - well I say "RUN FORREST RUN". Oh, by the way - I still love Best Buy. The Denton TX store rocks - ask for Beth.

We have been cooking on this range for 2 wks now and I am amazed by how well in works. It boils water quicker than our old propane range and the burner control is just as quick. Doesn't heat up the kicthen, the oven fans seem to cut the cooking time down. So all in all we are happy with the range.

I love this! I had a glasstopped electric before this and could never keep an even heat -- took forever to boil water and was a pain to keep the cooktop clean. This Samsung is a breeze to clean. I have not had anything stick to it. The burner sizes are the perfect fit for my cookware and the flexzone is a wonderful feature! Boils water in a flash and burners cool down immediately upon adjusting the heat so simmering is truly possible! I am thrilled to have 3 adjustable racks in the oven and the convection cooking is outstanding! I love, love, love this range! And, it is gorgeous!

You will need pots and pans that magnates will stick to. After that, this oven/stove has worked great. Definitely worth the price.

Defective product

This was supposed to be easy-to-operate worry free product. It started causing issues two months after I bought it. First time, the right elements were not working. The second time, the left elements were note working. Third time, the left big element was not working. Currently the two left elements are not working. This is the worst purchase I have ever made. I was better off staying with my 20 years old range, which since I bought the apartment 8 years ago has been working just fine. I changed it because renewed the whole kitchen.
After the technicians cane for the third time I asked Samsung to replace my range, because it was a faulty product and they refused.
I am extremely disappointed both by the product and by Samsung services.

I love this oven, there is nothing it won't do. Had to buy all brand new pots and pans for the induction burners. I would like to have the smaller burner out front and the larger one in the back, but not a deal breaker. The burners work so much better than the coils I had before. would rather have a gas stove but that's not an option in my house, induction the next best thing.

I would never buy this again! We have had only problems with this product. The stove turns off just randomly and then you cannot get it to turn back on. As much as you press the on button it will not start back up...sometimes it takes hours. Very frustrating! If the pan moves just a little bit it will just shut off. We were told that the surface is not hot to the touch...which would be a great feature if you had kids...not true! If you cook a lot do not buy this! It has only been frustrating for us. Best Buy will not help us either because you only have 30 days. Horrible product!

We've had the Samsung Induction Oven for two months now and it works great. We were concerned about it cooking even as a lot of electric ovens do not, but this oven does amazing!

DON'T BUY - TOP SCRATCHES TO EASILY - BAD GLASS

Terrible cooking surface. Scratches very easily. We've had glass toped ranges for 30 years. Never seen this problem before. In 4 weeks the top has 3 severe scratches. We have all new expensive pots and pans for the induction but we've still managed to scratch it. Glass is not of the correct specification for a cook top, especially for people who like to cook. My old KitchenAid had no scratches after 14 years.
