My wife and I recently purchased a new washing machine for our downstairs apartment. So far the reports have been excellent. The installation went very smoothly. It is economical to run and quite easy to operate. We have found Samsung to be a good brand as well as sound value at its price point.

This washer is probably great if most of your clothes are barely worn or if you just want to launder bedding and towels. If your clothes are actually dirty however, this is not as ideal. It saves water by not using much water for washing which means it drains the water that contained the detergent while most of the clothes are still dry. By the time it finishes all of the rinse and drain cycles it probably will have wet all the clothing, but seeing as how most of the clothes never see the detergent, clothes come out refreshed but not always really clean. Additionally, if the load is not at least mostly full, the washer will shake and tip side to side, so you cannot run a load unless it is going to be mostly full unless you are going to try to hold it down while it runs...I did that once, but usually ain't no one got time for that. It does seem to do a good job using all the detergent vs other washers I've used that seemed to leave behind half the detergent in the tray, so that is a positive. My other complaint is that most of the so called buttons are not really buttons but tiny touch screens which I suppose if you have no finger strength at all could maybe be useful, but it seems to me that is just something that will make this washer eventually unusable. My final issue is more with Best Buy than the washer itself, but if you want installation you must purchase a second set of fill hoses beyond what already come with the machine...but obviously there is no reason to own two sets of hoses - it isn't like that is a piece that tends to fail or need replacing, so you end up spending more money than you expected or would have with other retailers and in exchange have an extra set of pieces taking up space.

The first washer I received made a horrible high pitched squealing noise, shook like crazy and was very unbalanced. Called geek squad,( I purchased 3 yr warranty) and was first told all that was normal. I said no way it was normal. Spoke to someone else and was told a repairman could come out in 3 weeks. Really? I had the washer for 4 days only at this point. I said I purchased a new machine and that's what I want, not a repaired one from the start. Best buy delivered me another nee machine and picked up old one. The delivery guy was rude in a sense by basically telling me that you get what you pay for and that they are all like that. Good thing he's just a delivery driver and not a repairman. New machine doesn't squeal or shake like the other. I obviously got a lemon the first time, which happens, but best buy did right by me in the end.

Liked this better than any other in 25 years. So much that after having to leave it in a house we sold, we bought another. So quiet! And the Best Buy price match program saved us money that day AND twice after getting it installed with a simple phone call each time.

I love this washer. The only issue that I have had with it is if you do not leave the door open after a wash, it will get a musty smell to it. Just a little bit of vinegar will get rid of the smell. It still works to this day as I had just bought it.

Its seems big Corps have been chewing us up with fine print lately. But this was different. When my machine arrived the install people refused to sign off or hook the hose up to the water. The reason was the KNOB on the water turnoff was partially broken. OK..I accepted that and figured I could finish the job. I bought and installed new valves and did everything else the manual said. But the washer decided to walk across the floor every time id put a load in it. I called the installation team who left a number and who said they would return if needed, but the boss said have to use the Green Team instesd. I did. The Green Team came and did a great job. A "welcome" rubber floor mat solved the problem. Super happy with the product and BB.

The washer is excellent. Don't let the salesman sell you hoses because they already come with them. My Salesman Wayne insisted that we had to buy the hoses and made us feel stupid when when asked if they came with hoses. Guess what Wayne, they do.

So far, I really like this washer. I'm using less soap, fabric softner & water. I thought there was something wrong with the machine because I couldn't see any water sloshing around. After checking with the Samsung website, I now realize that they are supposed to use MUCH LESS water than I expected. The loads take longer to run than my old top load washer but there is less lint in the lint trap so, I don't think the clothes are getting as beat up & will last longer. Also, with the "Extra Spin" setting, they dry much faster. I'm shocked that the clothes come clean when the machine uses such a small amount of water.

Although this washer is 30 years newer than my old one, I find the controls very easy to use. I especially like the liquid softener dispenser, which I am now using instead of dryer sheets. What a difference in the softness of the clothes! I hope to purchase the matching dryer very soon.

love this washer. We purchased this after our tip loader stopped working. This was recommended by my father who read reviews of top 5 washers. Simple to use-13 yr old has no issues when using it independently. Love the quick wash option!

It’s been 3 1/2 weeks since we bought it and it’s a really good purchase. easy to use and really clean the clothes and smell clean as well. The spinning system in this washer is awesome reduced our drying time in half. I would recommend it to anyone.

Washer seems to be doing what it needs to do. We've only had it installed for a few weeks but so far we're happy. I do wish that the washer came with an option to have door hinge on the right. Currently I have to reach around the door to put laundry into the dryer. On sale, it was a great price.

After leveling, it is a great washer. Clothes come out very clean and washer is very quiet. Only real concern is that I keep getting an error code 4E that says it's having trouble filling with water. There may be a kink in the hose, but it is a stacked pair and getting to the back will require a lot of work

I've owned it less than a month but I assure you my wife has washed more loads that most people will only have washed a fraction of the amount so it's been put to the imidate test and thus far has not disappointed were very happy with our purchase.

This washer cleans better than my previous front loader. The water drops down from the top and really saturates the clothes. Also, all of the key washing features are readily available with easy to use buttons. Love this washer. Also, Best Buy offered a great deal on the purchase with free haul away and delivery.

Quick delivery on a sunday ! Easy to install, just make sure not to put pads underneath or the washer will shift wjen in use. Simple operation, extremely quiet. No problems after 1st month in service.

After doing a fair amount of research and studying of washer/gas dryer combos, we started watching for the best possible deal, on highly ranked products, and this pair of Samsung units was perfect. So far, we have absolutely nothing to complain about, and are very happy with the decision we made.

We've had this washer for about a month. My first front loader and I love it! There are many selections on the washer to choose from. Clothes are much cleaner, spin almost dry, and no residue left on clothes like my previous (only 3 year old!) top loader.

the washer functions very well. the programming is easy. the machine is silent and gives a clear tone at the end of the program. the washer verifies weight of content prior to starting the program. It also adjusts when the balance is not okay during the spinning door is large to have easy access.

I looked at many different washing machines before purchasing this one. Ultimately the price was what attracted me to purchase. The previous reviews really didn’t help me pick this machine. We do like the purchase. It is quiet but does sing a nice little song when the load is done.
