I can put a dog bed in, a king comforter, or just 2 weeks worth of whites and it kicks the crap out of the dirt somehow. I also should say I was biased as I don't like to buy Japanese vs. Maytag or Whirlpool, but the price vs. features were far better. Japan won this round I am sad to say, but happy with the purchase. Ashamed that as a single guy I care about a washer dryer setupbut heh I do.

Overall operation is pretty quiet, being in the basement. Occasionally I will hear it as it begins the spin cycle, if the house is quiet, but it quiets down pretty quickly. I imagine that it is influenced by the load, but it is not obtrusive enough to dwell on. I opted to hook it up myself. It was pretty straight forward.
