A nice change from the old agitator style washing machines. I love the efficiency of this unit. It is quiet and easy to use. I do not have to worry about ruining clothes because a piece of clothing may get caught in the agitator, with the huge barrel and new technology, no more worries, throw your clothes in and the washer does the rest. I highly recommend this washer and remain very satisfied.

Wife and I decided to upgrade from our current washer that was breaking down. It was the type with the spindle up the middle and around 2 Cu. Ft. of capacity. We basically doubled the capacity which is fantastic! Get so much more done in one load of laundry than having to spend time on multiples. Easy to use, nothing confusing about the layout of the buttons or how to work the washer. Add the clothes, add the detergent (which is less than the old style as well), and press start. Everything worked out so well with going to Best Buy too! The gentlemen helping us at the store was friendly and great to talk to while going through the purchasing process. Made sure we knew that if there was an issue with the new washers Best Buy would be there for us. The delivery men got everything taken out and put in in under 20 minutes and had great attitudes about doing it (it was raining on delivery day here and they were still great about it!). Plus the added 5 year support from Geek Squad on my new appliances gives me peace of mind. All in all, going through Best Buy and getting this Samsung Washer and matching Dryer was the best choice over other appliance stores. These two units work great, are quiet while running, and double your capacity if upgrading from the old style. Two thumbs up!!

love the huge capacity of this washing machine. not having an agitator really helps in allowing for more clothes to fit. This washing machine is very quite and cleans cloths very well. just washed my comforter (queen) and two large towels, all cleaned well and smelled great. the spin cycle with rings the clothes of excess water, thus reducing drying times.

I have to admit I was leary of another high tech washing machine after being a victim of the door sensing error. If you ever experienced this error you know the frustration it creates and seen the Youtube videos in trying to do the DIY override. After numerous attempts at fixing a machine not even 3 years old the problem still remained. So I decided to stop the insanity and purchase a new washer. I love this washer. It has a large capacity that allows for bulky items and determines the wash time due to the amount of clothes added. (yes another techy feature but this one works) The machine runs quietly throughout all it cycles and does an excellent job cleaning the clothes.

I know it is hard to believe that I can not find anything wrong with this machine, but at this point it's true. I have had the machine about a month at the time of this review and have ran many loads of various things through it. I have mixed denim jeans with shirts, towels, and socks, they all came out clean. I washed two throw rugs together, only one of which fit in my old machine, no issues. My whites come out nice. I have not had it go out of balance or had any other issues. The only time I had clothes come out less than clean was my fault. I put a waterproof vest in the load with my work clothes. The owners manual states that you must wash waterproof items by themselves, and not mix them with other clothes. And I work maintenance, so yes my clothes can and often do get very dirty. I use the heavy cycle, with heavy soil option, and it allows me to do a 15 minute presoak, which I use. This machine is extremely quiet. The "loudest" it gets is when it is filling up with water, the water running through the pipes in my home makes more noise than the machine. But to be fair, my machine is in a laundry room inside what was part of the garage. However, when in the kitchen with the door open to the laundry room, the refrigerator makes more noise when it is on than this machine. This machine has more washing options that I think I will ever use, but I am finding I am using more than I originally thought I would. You can adjust the water temperature (with some limitations in certain cycles), degree of soil in your clothes, spin speed, add a presoak and/or an extra rinse, you can even delay the time of your clothes washing and it has a self clean cycle that MUST be used every 40 loads. When it was delivered, they showed my how to use the machine, and noted that there was a new cycle available, waterproof. I have not yet used this cycle but I am sure I will in the future.

I've had this washer for about a month so far and everything seems to be working great. It cleans my clothes well and I'm able to fit a larger load in then my previous washer. It's very quiet and has a variety of settings for all of the different types of items I need to wash. Overall, I'd recommend this product! Again, this is only after a months use though. Let's hope I didn't just jinx myself and nothing happens to it now.

Read many reviews, mostly good and some not so good. We have had pretty good luck with Samsung appliances in the past but no experience with Washers and Dryers. I was a little intimidated by the bad reviews since we had never owned any of the HE machines. We have always had a conventional washer w/agitator. We decided to give it a try due to the return policy from Best Buy. I do not have enough time to tell how much we love this washer and matching dryer. It took a little getting used to at first. Primarily because it made practically no noise we weren't sure it was working. Easy to use, very clean clothes, almost silent. Will definitely look immediately to Samsung for our next appliance purchase.

First new washer in 15ish years... a little more than I planned on spending but not much. Very easy to use, clothes come out (as far as I can tell) nice and clean. It's nice and quiet while running but then plays little tune when it's done. The extra capacity takes a little getting used to. The wife and I used to do our own laundry separately but now with the larger drum the loads would be to small... now we do both in less time. We've only had it a little over a month so don't know about longevity..but so far.. so good.

My old washer is a good one and when it broke 3 last month, I replace with this Samsung which I think is better. To my surprise, it is so much better I would rather call it perfect. It is so much more quiet, energy and water efficient. I addition, it has bigger capacity and washes cleaner. Just way beyond my expectation.

I was nervous about buying a top loading washer without an agitator in the middle - seemed like new technology compared to front loaders. It's a good thing I did, because we found out after that a front loader wouldn't have fit in our confined space! It's nice being able to reach in from the top - we're taller, so bending down to get in would be more of a pain. I feel more confident about not getting mold in the front loading seal in this one, that's what drove a bit of our top loading purchase. So far, it's been awesome - we've washed our KING sized quilt several times and it has done a good job. Also, the price on this was really good. Feels like a great value for what we got!

This washer is great! The drum capacity is very large and as I'm a little on the short side, sometimes I have to get on my tiptoes to be able to reach the last sock. It cleans really well and the machine has many settings amd so far, they have all worked great. You can choose a quick wash option when you are in a hurry and you can load your machine and set a delay. thr delay had come in really handy. I've used it when setting the laundry to be done when I get up or am running errands and don't want wet clothes sitting around waiting for me to get back. The clothes come out damp and not sopping wet so your dry time is reduced. This model also features a timer so you will know when you clothes will be done. You can manage the speed of the spin as well which is great for your delicate clothes. Make sure you use HE detergent. I'm really happy with this machine. It's reduced the number of loads I do a week.

Was really worried I wouldn't like it

I have never had an HE washer and was really worried it wouldn't get my clothes clean. I researched for about a year before buying. I really like the look of this one and the dimensions were right for my space. I was so worried, I even did a test load in my neighbors Whirlpool Cabrio HE washer. (A pant leg of my scrubs came out of washer dry. Yes, dry.) I took a chance because of the other reviews and the 15 day return policy. I read the instruction book carefully and washed many loads in my 15 day trial period. It took some time finding out which setting worked best with my clothes but now I love it. It is hard to see through the lid, but I took a flashlight and set it on top with the room lights out and watched it often during whole wash cycle. This eased my anxiety some. I love the dings or tones on the washer, not like the old buzzing noise of older ones. When I wash on HOT, there is condensation/steam on the control panel. This worried me so I just put a hand towel across the bottom of the panel to prevent this. Only other drawback is the soap/softener dispenser. Standing water in it after the load is done.. I don't like that; afraid it will mildew and stink. I take the same hand towel and manually dry it best I can and leave the lid open to air dry more. Maybe not so good if you have small kiddos, I don't. Really though, I am not griping, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I do like this machine. Big relief. Just read the instruction manual and try different settings till you find the ones that work for you.

Our washer died and we purchased the Samsung High Efficiency washer to hopefully save some money on our water bill and because of it's ability to wash heavier loads like bedding, etc. All the reviews didn't do it justice! The washer is excellent on all counts. Quiet, wonderfully efficient and great on water usage! Overall, an excellent choice.

This washer replaced a 22 year old Amana that had been a workhorse. Never realized how inefficient my old machine really was. This machine runs very efficiently and is super quiet. It adjusts itself when a load starts to get out of balance and is also easy to program, just tell it what you're washing and it sets itself up. The only thing easier would be voice recognition! The large capacity is great, everything comes out way less wrinkled and bed linens and so forth don't get all tangled up like they did in my old machine. LOVE IT!

My 20 year old washer finally bought the farm. And right on Black Friday...I guess it was a parting gift because of all the deals that day. I had been researching washers because I knew the time was near. The Samsung has been a great replacement. It's quiet and efficient. I love that it has multiple settings and actually cleans the clothes. I recommend following the instructions to calibrate it prior to using it for the first time. It seems to really help to detect actual weight of clothes and therefore adding to the overall efficiency. Coming from an old school machine, I was concerned about the high efficiency detergent and stories of soap residue on clothes. I have not experienced this at all with the Samsung. I have used the recommended amount for washes and it works great. The various spin cycles are good and it seems to really get the clothes almost dry before even moving them to the dryer. I got this unit on sale and I do feel it has been the best bang for the buck.

My old washer died and as much as I dislike spending money on things that aren't fun, I couldn't wear dirty clothes to work every day so we bought this washer. I like the fact that it has a very large drum. It's great for washing blankets and even comforters. Since the washer is deep and I'm a little on the short side, getting those last few socks out is sometimes a challenge but I just lean on in. Haven't gotten stuck yet! The wash cycles are longer than on our old washer but I'm guessing that's because gravity isn't doing part of the work like it did on our old front loader. The music when the washer is finished is much nicer than a noisy buzzer!! So far I'm satisfied with this purchase.

It's what I expected after doing the research. It's perfect! Quiet, and the time of wash is great, of course a little longer than the older washing machines, but that's what I expected. Less water used. The spin cycle allows for less drying time--gotta love that. Allows me to complete other chores while a load is being washed.

I had an LG tromm for a year and began to have problems with it, I was hesitant on buying another washer because I didn't want to run into the same problems. I've had this washer for a month and I could not be happier, it's quiet, great for large loads and leaves the clothes like new. I would definitely recommend this washer
