I wanted to keep the same size, but also wanted 4k. And 40" seems to be the smallest you can get a 4k in. So I chose this, and have been pretty satisfied so far. The sound is fine for my bedroom. And the picture is great without messing with any settings so far.

However, my last one had burn-in on the screen after close to five years, and since it couldn’t be fixed or replaced, I was able to purchase this one using the gift card provided to me through the protection plan. I have no complaints with this TV. Provides a good picture and sound, and is easy to use.
