The tv is the right size for my bedroom. It has a great picture with vivid colors and the pixelation is so sophisticated that even black and white movies look more lifelike. My only concern is that the sound seems to fade. I've only had the tv about 2 weeks. I tried to follow the recommendations in the manual to resolve the problem but nothing has worked so far

Bought this tv for my newly renovated kitchen and it is the perfect size. The tv itself has an excellent picture and really good features. Had Geek Squad put it up and they attached the cable box behind the tv so it is hidden from sight. Very happy with that.

This TV is our first flat screen and it fit in our old custom made entertainment center where we had one of those old chunky models from 1991. The picture is so large and clear from what we had before.

Bought this for our daughter for Christmas as her first TV of her own. Really impressive picture quality and surprisingly the sound is pretty good too for built-in speakers. So happy with it that we're getting another one as an upgrade for our bedroom.

Having read reviews I found all were credible. Sitting dead on the picture is perfect but even a little off to one side and the color seems to lighten up on the opposite side. However, I don't find this a deal breaker and am used to it. The sound is better than I had expected from reading other reviews.

We use the 40" Samsung in our guest bedroom; our son from the UK was the first visitor. He enjoyed the TV and has a 65" in his flat. Therefore, he is familiar with Samsung TVs. When we replace our living room TV, we have a head start on our search.

I love my Samsung UHD TV! I decided to put it in my bedroom. I think its a great size and the colors are so beautiful and vivid. I would highly recommend the NU1700 Series 40" -2160p-Smart-4K UHD TV with HDR.

I have always purchased Samsung TV's and haven't considered anything else! I have looked at other brands, but consistently come back to Samsung. The Geek Squad is the best! They have hooked up several things for us and I would highly recommend them!

I love this TV! Easy set up and we use the apps all the time for Netflix and Amazon. Don't have cable so can't give my opinion on that. This is our 4th Samsung TV and we will definitely buy a 5th Samsung next year when we replace a Sony 55 inch.

This was bought for a smaller bedroom. It has a very good picture. I checked a lot of reviews & they were mostly good. I would highly recommend this product. We have nothing but Samsung tv’s.

We purchased this TV for our bedroom because we wanted to upgrade to a smart TV. Installation was very simple and connection to our internet was easy. Accessing our streaming apps is a breeze. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I started my search started at Best Buy when my tv went out. The salesperson was a great help picking out a new tv. It was in the right price range for the size and upgrade from my last tv. I will be upgrading the sound in the near future

I was in the market for a new bedroom TV and this is such an amazing TV. The resolution is amazing the smart features like Netflix and YouTube are great. I have it connected to my Apple 4K TV and it's even more perfect. Highly recommend.

Very nice tv with a fabulous picture for the money. Was considering a less expensive 1080p since only a 40 inch. But really pleased with this selection. Extremely clear watching sports, movies, news, whatever. Couldn't be happier with it.

Love the color and clarity. I only have an antennae for tv and this new tv auto scanned for channels AND it found something called tv plus that gave me over 50 more channels!

I knew 4K was a waste as there is little to no content but for the price it was stupid not to get it. The apps installed are nice but overall the menus are slow. The worst is the remote. This is our bedroom TV and the remote is not backlit so I can’t see the buttons! So dumb.

I bought this device refurbished for an add'l savings off the already fair price. Thus far, it's everything they said it would be. All around pleased! (and still exploring features!)

This set is just a bit narrower than more common 43 inch 4K sets, and fit better where I needed it. Overall good picture and sound, but some material looks a bit "over-processed", maybe from the motion smoothing settings. A good value. The broadcast tuner is better than most, receiving more channels with less antenna than my other sets.

Have this hooked up in my game room with an Xbox one X. Had a monitor set up before but I was looking for something 4K with HDR, bigger size than my monitor and with good input lag for gaming. This had everything I needed.
