This TV is exactly what we needed! We wanted to replace our bedroom TV with a 4K smart TV. Our existing TV was a Samsung so we wanted to stick with the brand. This one is a really nicely featured model for the price. Just be sure to get the 7100 series, as the lower series is the prior model year. It is significantly lower in price, but I think the newer model is worth the difference.

Okay so people would say this is by far the best tv. For me? It’s the best one I have had yet! Here are some things I have discovered that is not listed on the box or online websites: I can plug in a external HDD and watch movies from it. IE, it will access files/photos or movies) from the HDD and play Like library. This tv also has Apple Airplay when it’s connected to the same WiFi and turned on. It has the ability to view directtv DVR files, although I have not figured out how to play them. If someone tries to connect to my tv without my knowing, via WiFi or Bluetooth, it will alert me and I can allow or disallow that connection. It being a smart tv, you can download the apps you want from their “store” and delete ones you don’t want, with some exceptions. Tiles are movable as well. It shows your local TV guide and stayions when a digital antenna is attached. When streaming from phone, your phone volume button controls the tv volume too. Can access the internet via its built in browser. And also can use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Otherwise, the remote does it all with some aggravation. I have been successful at connecting my windows 10 laptop via extended screen for viewing. This tv gets turned on daily and have not had any issues or dead pixels.

I purchased this as a smart TV for my parents. It was easy to set up. Easy to teach them how to use the features. TV is being used without a sounds bar and the sound is just fine for the medium sized living-room it is located in. It connects with hearing ads for my parents. Working great with no issues for coming up on 2 years now.

This is the best tv in this range for the price as far as my eyes can tell. it also has more options than i know what to do with. fairly easy to set up, i do think samsung can work on their interface, custimizing of that interface and their app. i think the app kinda stinks. i can’t really get it to do anything and the website is pretty unhelpful. THAT aside, i love the tv.

I am in love with the picture and features of this tv. It’s lightweight and all picture. No need for my roku anymore eithe. It has a super clean sharp picture. 40” is the perfect size for the bedroom. The only issue I have is it has turned on in the middle of the night by itself a few times. But even with that it’s a great buy for the price.

I bought the Samsung - 40" Class - LED - NU7100 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR as a replacement TV for my den. The setup was a breeze, the picture is sharp & clear. My older (10yrs plus) TV was a 32 vivzo which was starting to get screen burn, color /contrast going, etc If you're looking for a new (den/rrec room) TV this is a good choice.

This was a Geek Squad replacement ( thank you, GS!). I really like this TV. Setup was very easy, and it has a sharp picture. Interfaces easily with my Denon home theater receiver. Gone is the minimalist controller, replaced by a more conventional one. Nice improvement.

I am using this with both antenna and streaming. Connections and picture are great. Easy set up and light weight.

Always wanted a 4K Tv since they came out and it was the best decision i made. The quality is canning; image so crisp and i have a guilty pleasure of using my Alexa to turn the Smart TV on and off!

I’ve always loved Samsung and I hadn’t had any issues with the other two TVs I own “knock on wood” but this one relaxed an older one in my room which I gave to my younger son and I took this upgrade for me. The colors look brilliant and the smart tv function is cool. Tv is thin and light I love it.

I purchased this tv open box and it is just as good as if it were band new. The picture quality is awesome and I love having apps like Youtube and Netflix on the tv just to name a few. The setup was super easy and the menus are easy to navigate. Not to mention the sound quality is great.

Had no problems setting up this TV. Liked the built-in setup tutorial. The TV essentially walks you through a setup process that is nearly idiot-proof. Once complete the icons remain on the screen but can be removed through the set up menus. I like that the TV has the users manual built right in with a dedicated button on the remote and all the information you need is right at your fingertips (good for the 50 plus crowd that often misplaces manuals). Still need to research Bluetoothing the sound into my stereo system. Would recommend this TV to anyone that's over fifty like me and don't want all hassle of programming without the prompting of the tutorial.

I really love my new Samsung tv. The picture is beautiful; the screen is clear and sharp and I love that I can get Netflix, Prime, You-tube and many other programing with just the touch of a button. I'm very happy with this product.

Very clear picture, great sound, easy to set up. Fits easily on a tv stand next to wall. I find the layout of the remote a bit clumsy to use, but not bad once you get used to it.

The TV works and looks great. No issues with setting it up and the remote works great, with an option to use a phone app as an alternative remote. The only issue I've had is that setting up HDR for use with Game Mode is confusing as some options appear in entirely different menu sections and it's confusing to know when you have HDR10 enabled without checking through a game console or similar device.

I recently purchased a Samsung 40" NU 7100 series smart TV. It had to fit within the space of my armoire. The color is great & I like the ease of deleting channels I don't watch. I am very happy with this purchase & the fact that Samsung gets excellent reviews for all its models.

The picture and sound on this tv is worth it for the price point. Plenty of hdmi connections and easy to use. I have a blue ray player and a cable box connected. Audio is to a 4 year old Samsung sound bar using an optical cable. Prior tv used RCA plugs and sound is so much better.
