    It might be inexpensive but it is not internet responsive if you have cable go for it otherwise you will hate if you are trying to steam your Apps for your TV.

    TV dead after less than a week

    Bought the tv and everything was going great for almost a week. Last night, my son said the tv was flickering. Then we shut it off. Woke up and the tv will not turn on. Have tried some troubleshooting but already wasted a couple hours. returning it to the store. waste of time, money and effort.

    Had to send for repairs

    It lasted 3 weeks and messed up. The screen and the sound. They would not replace it. Sent it in for repairs and they had it close to 2 months.

    It was too difficult for me to set up at my home. I tried multiple time to connect this TV to the internet but it would not. I suspect it was defective so I returned it to my Best Buy store and received a refund. Very complicated process and Samsung customer service is in Japan or someplace and I couldn't even understand the rep as I don't speak Japanese.

    Picture quality has soap opera look. Movie actors looked unrealistic like actors in costume on a movie set. I returned it.

    Tv went out in less than years. Bought extended warranty .they said would have to pay for extended warranty again since we had a repair. Had to pay extra for new tv because model was discontinued. Had to drive to st Joseph to pick up new t.v. or wait 2 weeks for replacement. Nor a good experience

    Best Buy advertised a Sony and Samsung as comparable models they sold out of the Sony and said there could be no backorder. So I went with the Samsung. Poor picture poor brightness poor definition which I slightly improved with an expensive HDMI cable. Worst tv I’ve ever owned.

    Typical Samsung. It works when it wants. I went in to buy an Insignia and they talked me into a Sumsung. Knowing they don’t make good products I let the sales person talk me into it anyway. It does within a few months.

    Purchased this TV 4 months ago and used it twice since. It stopped working since I tried to use it during the NFL season. Best Buy refused to exchange it and sent me to Samsung.

    The screen turned black on the left side one month after the warranty ended. Cheaper to buy another TV than fix. I wont be buying another one of these.

    This is my 2nd 4K HDR TV purchase. Last year I purchased an LG OLED 55 inch for my living room, which is absolutely phenomenal. I wanted to get a 'small' 4K HDR TV for my home office, to replace an old 32" Vizio from 8 years ago. So I knew getting something other than OLED will be a little disappointing. However, this is still a good TV just doesn't have that much of great color and of course black levels. Also, Samsung is the only manufacturer to make a 40" 4K TV right now, every other manufacturer makes 43". Even the 40" is a little on the large size for my small home office. But I'm getting used to the grays and not so great colors. I noticed in the store, the LG's have much better colors, but I didn't want to get a 43" TV, so I bought this one. I'm happy with the TV except for the following negatives: 4K (and HDR) is not available on the built in apps and when watching 4K and HDR through the HDMI port on my Apple TV 4K, the TV doesn't let you know as my LG does. For example, showing 'HDR' on the top right (or anywhere on the screen) to let you know you are watching a higher image quality display. Overall, I'm happy with it.
