Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv for my mom, and made the mistake of not getting a warranty with it. She's had problems with it almost the entire time. The sound quality is not great. If she is running the AC- you have to turn the sound way up, but if music comes on, the music is super loud, so you have to turn down the volume. After a 2 years, the tv has these streaks on the bottom and the top of the screen which I've never had happen before. It also has a message pop up that says, "please wait" and the screen turns black and the only way to get rid of it, is by unplugging the power and rebooting the whole thing. Now it's happening everyday. So I already have to buy her a new tv. I've never had a tv die so quickly before. I have no idea how this model got such great reviews.

Disappointed and Frustrated!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My Samsung TV was delivered and installed by The Geek Squad on Wed, June 6th. I have spent hours on the phone with Spectrum and Samsung Technicians and had a Spectrum Technician at my home on June 9th. When using the Spectrum App, the TV will not hold the internet connection and the sound and picture continuously freezes. Needless to say, I can not watch any program via this App. All other devices are working with strong signals; this TV does not connect to 5G and it is only picking up 2G. Is this a Software issue? Is this a defective TV? As a 2018 model, why doesn't the it pick up 5G? I am now waiting for Samsung to get back to me by June 11th or 12th to see what can be done. Otherwise, I will have to return the TV?! I have a brand new TV, mounted on a wall and it can not be watched!

Good until warranty is required
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV developed an inner screen issue and their policy is to blame physical damage not covered with warranty without even examining the unit. Would have to assume this is a recurring nightmare for them and cost prohibitive to honor, therefore a standard policy not to repair.

Worst TV, turns itself on randomly... no fix

Samsung wanted a video of it turning itself on randomly... yep they actually asked for the impossible. After over a dozen calls and 2 different service calls the TV is still not fixed. They say that my modem is to blame. Never had a TV turn itself on. Searching the internet, this is a common problem. What a great big headache. Save yourself the aggravation .

Apps unsupported, HDMI input failures
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Series 7 40” TV in 2011 as a 2010 model. The factory won’t support the Smart TV apps anymore and 3 out of the 4 HDMI inputs have failed. Our satellite TV installer told us that this is a common occurrence with these TVs.
