A little confusing in the beginning trying to switch between internet streaming services & back to regular tv. We bought a Samsung soundbar with the understanding that we could control ALL with the tv remote, if you can.... we can't figure out how to make it happen. Looked at limited directions that came with tv & sound bar & on youtube. Overall very happy for the price point.

To tune your TV's sound, you may want to try adjusting the sound settings to suit your personal sound preferences. You can change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
You can customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.
To control your TV and soundbar with one remote, utilize these instructions on Anynet+. With Anynet+, you can control external devices connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote.
To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If your cable box does not support HDMI-CEC, you will not be able to use Anynet+.
Additionally, you can use the Universal Remote feature to program your connected devices using your TV remote by following these setup steps:
1) Connect an external device to the TV's HDMI port, and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI and will switch the output. If it doesn't automatically detect it, then keep following the steps to set up Universal Remote.
2) Press the Home button on your TV remote to access the Home Screen. Using the directional pad on the remote, navigate to Source. When the selector is placed over Source, the Source menu will appear. Press UP on the directional pad to access Universal Remote.
3) Select Universal Remote on the Source screen. Next, select Start and ensure the device you want to connect is turned on. When your desired device displays, select it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and register the device. The instructions may vary depending on the chosen device type.
4) To make controlling everything easier, your TV and the remote will memorize the external device and its connection port (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.).

Only downside. The samsung home & direction keys on the remote should be more noticeable by feel. I always have to look at it to make sure i'm hitting the correct buttons. Those are the most often used, and should be more prominent. Was used to a raised wheel type setup.

LOVE The Samsung 43" Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD TV

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Samsung 43" Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV not only it's a bigger size than the one before (32" Smart TV, not same brand), but 4K UHD sure gives a more clear, neat and detailed image, the set up system it's very good explained and walk through process. I did notice the speakers' volume is not as loud as my other TVs but is just a matter of turn it up higher. I am very happy with it, love it.

A bigger TV has made my viewing better

More channels to watch, more choices of sources, easy to set up! Wow! My only problem is all the aforementioned choices will take some learning on my part. This is a lot of technology for an old lady. After I learn how to connect the BluRay DVD and go back and forth between it and the TV, my options are limitless! The price was to good to pass up. The curbside pickup was fast and smooth!
