Defective screen strikes again!

I’ve owned this TV for less than 24 hours and already it’s happened twice. Unplugging the TV and plugging it back in is the only thing that “fixes” it, and even then the fix only lasts until the next time it was off for awhile. There is an issue with this TV, which is surprising since I have three other Samsung TVs that have been great for years. I’ll be going with a different model.

Quality at its finest

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not able to adjust all colors, i have extreme Yellow and cannot be adjusted , also when I hook the tv through my Sony surround sound equipment with the 2 hdmi cables and I run the “Device Care” it’s telling me to replace the cable... so I just run it through my DTV genie .I can’t get the 4K image also.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 4K Smart TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture. You can adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
The quality of the image on your screen depends on the source and the connection. HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out. High Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable are recommended.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.received a "geek squad certified" open box item which apparently means that the internet port doesnt work (yes i know it has wifi but i prefer hardwired) and it has fingerprints all over the screen. when trying to exhange, customer service option was to return and buy new, which means spending more. only reason i gave 2 stars is because the tv is kinda nice. dont trust the geek squad certification though

Defective TV but Samsung TVs usually good

I already have a series 7 samsung tv of this size and it works great. The TV does tend to lose wifi connection once in a while but to be fair, it is far away from modem.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy it, I bought my TV on April 3rd I started using it in May and before the end of the June it stopped working I didn’t have insurance on it I have to call Samsung to come look at it for me today the technician came and tell me there’s no luck yet and now they left without fixing it because they have to order some stuff to fixing it, which is very crazy, I’m very disappointed ☹️, I thought Best Buy was a good company.

Product was damaged!! Disappointed.

Best Buy only gave a short return period from the day that it was received (~2 weeks). My mistake was not telling the person I gave it to to open it immediately. When the product was opened (after the return period unfortunately), there was a huge wooden piece that pierced the bottom of the TV and the top of the screen had a huge crack! I'm shocked that Best Buy didn't check the products before putting them on sale and not allowing a return for a damage that should have been inspected before sending it out.

The TV is garbage

I racked my brain troubleshooting, reading the Manuel's etc as well as buying new hdmi cables. Since there is a bit of a delay getting to the store during Covid the return period ended amd I'm stuck with a broken new TV. It also powers off on a whim, and drops the internet

Picture quality is extremely Poor!

Cracked Screen

I seen other reviews and was already weary but gave it a shot at buying just to show up to my door step cracked already at the top. The crack is also very small running from the top to the middle. I can’t believe it. I don’t know if it’s the TVs they make these days or the ease of online shopping has created this lesser quality in things but I’ll shop for the 8 series next time if anything. Might even shop off of Best Buy. First purchase from them ever as an adult. Very sad.

I am very sorry to see that your screen exhibited damage upon opening and setup. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.
We recommend you contact your seller directly for assistance in correcting this situation.
