I'm finding features that I did'nt know it had. I'm so glad that I made the dicision to buy when I did. the timing was perfect. It had just went on sale. soon I will buy a reciever to go with it. Expected more from Samsung

I turned it off, unplugged it from the outlet, and let it sit for an hour. After that it worked perfectly until last night July 22, 2020. I purchased a brand new device not a refurbished so you can understand my disappointment when our screen went completely dark. I tried the above steps and it did not turn back on. I tried it again a few minutes ago (6 hours later) and still nothing. Tomorrow it is supposed to be two months and the television stop working. Clearly it is defective. I only gave it a fair because it was great until it was not.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV not displaying properly. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Check the antenna and input cable connections
2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections
3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines
4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
(Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

Only drawback is it’s hard to stay connected to our internet and the Ethernet plug doesn’t work. Upon contacting both Best Buy and Samsung directly neither one would fix or exchange for me.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing internet connection issues. A firmware update is available which may help improve your connection. (1420.0 released on 1/5/21)
Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.
You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

GREAT TV

I have it synced to my Samsung smartphone and having the ability to play things from my phone in the screen is very nice. It also has all the entertainment apps that I use is cool too.

There's two other ones at home and they work well. Streaming was sometimes slow but that's because it's so far from the router. Once I connected it to ethernet I haven't had any problems.
