But you shouldn't expect your high end gaming console to pair well with a budget T.V.

The software Samsung gave us from the factory is as bad as it could possibly be. It’s actually pretty unbelievable how bad it is. Once you connect an Apple TV to it, the tv is great.

The volume on the tv varies and will go up and down without being touched. The remote is bulky and not great quality. I miss the old Bluetooth universal remotes.

Your volume fluctuation is possibly a source issue. You can try auto volume Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

First off the picture is great but I got this tv to more or less watch streaming shows and it’s connectivity is just awful , I have 3 roku TVs and 2 firestick tvs and this Samsung replaced a roku . All the other televisions I might have had 1-2 issues over the years I’ve had this less then 6 months and it craps out and loses signal or the picture becomes blurred at least once a week . My internet signal is strong and works fine on every other product in the home including the television that was here before this one . If you plan on doing any streaming I highly recommend a different brand

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues.
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Ver 1401.7 is now available at: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020

It’s also neat that the remote has a Netflix button for easy use to go straight to the app when you turn the TV on.

But the blacks could be better it gets a bit pixilated during darker scenes which is a distraction. I’ll play around with the setting to see if I correct that and update my review.

But that's what your pay for. One downside, seems like the Samsung interface is a bit slow compare to LGs in my opinion. But don't effect how pictures are displayed

Immediate Malfunction...

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bring home and set up our Samsung TV in our bedroom and eagerly anticipate countless evenings of video enjoyment.But,after just two evenings,the remote won't operate the tv.New batteries do not help.A LONG phone conversation to the help line is useless.We end up making an appointment for repair,and have to wait 10 days for the visit that finally solves the failure.Probably should have just taken it back IMMEDIATELY.

My last TV had a thick border and it took away some of what I should have been seeing. The sound is okay, I would like to check into a sound system though. It is in a large room and I am getting old.LOL.

Never did that before. But my experience was great. No problems with set up. Didn't need the extra DMI cord. The only let down on the tv is there is no hookup for my DVD PLAYER. Nor happy about that.
