I purchased it because I needed an upgrade that works with Alexa, a capacity this tv is advertised as having. It doesn’t, nor does it work with any kind of voice activation. I learned this on my third extended session with Samsung tech support, when after another hour of troubleshooting the agent I was working with said very bluntly, “this model cannot be used with voice activation commands.” Doesn’t get more straightforward than that. If only that’s what the advertising said as well. So instead of pressing a button on a remote and telling my tv what I want to watch, I have to navigate Samsung’s onerous screens and type my searches onscreen. There is absolutely no connectivity between apps. No general search capability. Half the time the tv doesn’t even remember what I was just watching and just goes back to the home screen. Navigating to find anything that didn’t come with the tv from the start is a nightmare. To sum up, if you are looking for a smart tv that has anything resembling smart features, keep looking. You won’t find them on this model.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung’s TU7000 TV. Please know that your model does not have voice assistants built-in. However, they do work with Alexa and Google Assistant. You can connect them to your existing Alexa and Google Assistant devices to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
Your TV works with Alexa-enabled devices. You can ask Alexa to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
You will need to download both the SmartThings app and the Amazon Alexa app.
1) Discover your TV in the SmartThings app by selecting the Add Device option.
2) Also, be sure that your Alexa device has been discovered in your Alexa app.
3) From the Alexa app, enable SmartThings Skill for a TV. Once this skill is added, go to Discover Devices, and your TV will be automatically discovered.
If you are also using Alexa for an external speaker or soundbar and your TV, you can say volume up and volume down along with the name of the device you want to operate.
On the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone, check the name of the TV or device you want to operate.
Say the desired voice command:
“Alexa, volume up on (TV name).”
“Alexa, volume down on (device name)”

The combination of features, size, and price point drew me to this TV. It is a "spare" TV that we use to watch our shows on while we use the primary TV for games. My girlfriend actually picked up this TV so we could play games on the Nintendo Switch together on separate consoles. I joke about how cheaply made it feels and that is has plastic legs, but in reality, the TV is a good value and it suits our needs quite well. If your use case is similar or this is going to go in a kid's or guest bedroom, I would definitely consider this model (especially if it's on sale).

I like the variety of programs that are available to stream. But when I use my cable, not all my remote functions are compatible with the TV. It is a bit more annoying.
