Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 4K Smart TV and for your review. You can use this function to automatically shut off the TV after a pre-set period of time. You can set the sleep timer for up to 180 minutes after which it will turn off the TV. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer

We wanted to stream the news in the morning, after recording it earlier so we could skip the ads using the Xfinity Beta Streaming app. Unfortunately it struggled whether on WiFi or ethernet, it would buffer at times. So even though it is a model that is supposed to work with the Xfinity streaming app we were disappointed and returned it. We will probably get a TV with Roku built in as our experiences with an external Roku Premiere + were better.
