    Can’t go wrong with Samsung. Only complaint, and it’s minimal, is that it should have come with mounting screws.

    Great product, definitely a lot easier as a two person build though so don't push yourself unless your feeling strong in both body and mind.

    Great guest room tv. Samsung UI is always fast, I can watch all the streaming apps without having to buy a separate streaming device.

    We found the Samsung on sale and overall the reviews seemed good. But I’d wish we purchased the eight series which is supposed to have a better picture then the Seven series. The Tv just does not seem to have very vide colors and looks no different then a normal HD set. We have a Roku box connected but we should see 4K picture jump off the screen and it’s not there. Set up was a bit weird and steaming from my iPhone does not always work well.

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

      You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

    Too dark to see

    I returned this TV because it was set to "Universal Dimming" and no one could seem to get it off. It was too dark to see. When I explored my options, I learned that the LG TV's are more user friendly for people like me - not tech savvy 1st time smart TV owners. The Best Buy folks pointed me to a LG TV that was a bit bigger and easier to use.

    Product ok Smart Things Doesn't Work spent 2 hr on Phone with support only to find out Product doesn't support SMART THINGS as advertised. Also only purchased this 43 because Best Buys Poor Warranty. Had just purchased a 40 in Samsung Les than 60day and Power problem and Best Buy would not Exchange even with the 3 yr warranty I purchased. I even wanted to up grade its been now almost 30 days with No TV. Best Buy Warranty SUCKS

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your SmartThings app. Your 43” TU700 does support the SmartThings app. If your TV status is stuck in a particular state or does not respond to an action in your SmartThings app, you might want to try the following steps:

      1) Please make sure both devices are connected to the same local network. The phone and TV must be connected to the same network as your router to be discovered by the app.

      2) Refresh the device using the SmartThings app. From the Devices tab, swipe down to refresh the device list.

      3) Delete and re-add the device on the SmartThings app.

    HDMI has issues & is slow

    I’ve owned the tv for a month & a half now, and have had the same issue over & over. My Xbox & Amazon Firestick both have display issues. Sometimes my Firestick’s color will display all green, or all white, or the colors will look bleached. To fix it I have to unplug it & plug it back it. This probably happens 2-3 times a week. As for my Xbox, about once every 2 weeks the tv will display my games in what looks like 360p, with a very overstretched display & that doesn’t match the tv. To resolve, unplug & plug the HDMI back in. Out of the box, the colors also look bad. To blue no matter what presets you choose, & the two HDMI ports that the tv have, don’t have the same color adjustment options, one is missing one specific setting, which means that when I switch between the two, I notice a color difference. To get a realistic color balance, I had to tweak the colors quite a bit. Also, the tv is slow & unresponsive when I use my Firestick.

      Make sure that your external device is connected securely and turned on. Move to Sources to switch to other input sources: Source > Sources.

      Using HDMI Troubleshooting, you can check the connection to the HDMI cable and external devices (which takes approx. 2 minutes). Source > Connection Guide > Video Device > HDMI Troubleshooting,

      Also, please check the broadcast signals or the network that is connected to your cable box.
