As much as I like the screen and volume I stills can’t get over the fact how hard it is to move around apps. It is very slow and even typing things is basically impossible.

It took 2 tries to get this the first one was canceled. The second took forever to get here. I’ve never had bad service from bestbuy but this was not a pleasant experience!

Speakers are terrible ! Picture is ok, easy to setup except for sound bar which I am still trying to setup. Glad I purchased geek squad plan I am sure I will need it.

We had used a FireStick before to get access to all our channels; this TV is EXTREMELY cumbersome and slow. There has not been a way to set up voice commands through Alexa - or we haven't figured it out - and the settings never stick.
Maybe a newer model or a different make altogether would have been better. This is not a fun TV to have. Only Plus - the picture and sound are great and perfect for our bedroom.

Your TV works with Alexa-enabled devices. You can ask Alexa to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.
You will need to download both the SmartThings app and the Amazon Alexa app. 1) Discover your TV in the SmartThings app by selecting the Add Device option. 2) Also, be sure that your Alexa device has been discovered in your Alexa app. 3) From the Alexa app, enable SmartThings Skill for a TV. Once this skill is added, go to Discover Devices, and your TV will be automatically discovered.
If you are also using Alexa for an external speaker or soundbar as well as your TV you can say volume up and volume down along with the name of the device you want to operate.
On the Amazon Alexa™ app on your smartphone, check the name of the TV or device you want to operate.
Say the desired voice command: “Alexa, volume up on (TV name)” “Alexa, volume down on (device name)”

This was given as a gift to a neighbor who lost her old tv to two severe lightening storms. I have had nothing but good service from all the Samsung tvs purchased from Best Buy, except for this one!! My neighbor has had repeated connection problems with this tv, even the Comcast technician indicated the same. Not sure I will ever purchase a small tv from BB again!!

1. Use 5Ghz Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

They claim the 7000 series its 120 refresh rate , but it’s horrible if you want to see a basketball or football game.
Everything is blurry and out of focus. The picture quality for a movie is good . But don’t buy this TV if you are watching any sports Game .I will follow up with some picture , stay tuned.

There are a few things we can try to help with the picture quality.
First, for optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings and choosing one of the following:
Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.
Next, let's make sure you have the latest software as we just sent out a few firmware update. Go to Settings > Support > Software Update and update if needed.

Replaced my old Samsung tv in the bedroom with this and it has been okay. The Samsung tv is annoying and had to be disabled, the interface is very laggy when scrolling through apps, settings, or anything and feels very clunky and difficult to maneuver. For example It’s a process just to turn on the sleep timer. Start up and Connectivity to your phone and wifi is easy enough though.
