    we returned this TV because it does not do MLB.TV. Or if it does we nor the people at Best Buy could figure it out.

    Performance left a lot to be desired

    I bought 2 Samsung TV's recently, one was a 8000 series and the second one was this 7000 series. From my experience, the 7000 series is starved of processing power. A simple channel change on this 7000 series TV took about 5-6 seconds while the same action on the 8000 series was about a second. Same experience when I tried pulling up the TV guide or other apps. The slow performance was irritating.

    I mean it’s not that crystal. For the price it’s definitely worth the purchase. Just saying. It’s 4K and it won’t kill your pockets.

    Stopped Working

    Sometimes the screen would be on but the tv would not be responsive. the only way it would work again is if i completely unplugged it for a minute and then plugged it back in. One day the audio cut out while i was watching a show. shortly after, the picture cut out as well. The screen still appeared to be on and had power but it was unresponsive. I tried unplugging it/plugging it in again and it still wouldn't work. This was just a month or so after the warranty was up so basically, I'm just out of luck. After doing some searching online I found that this is not uncommon for this model. i enjoyed this tv and i would have recommended it if it didn't become completely inoperable after a year.

    Worked fine for one month….. exactly 1 month from the date of purchase it quit! Won’t turn on at all. Changed the remote batteries just in case. Nothing. And Best Buy, you give us 15 days? Called and you suggest calling Samsung. Not at all happy.

    Average Quality - Failed under warranty.

    Average TV for this price range. While all the smart apps worked I felt the smart interface was slow in comparison to my LG tv with web OS. I would give an 3 star rating but unit failed within the first 8 months of use. This was covered by warranty but took a few hoops to jump through with Samsung. Samsung ultimately authorized a store credit with Best Buy.

    We just got this TV over the weekend and used it once (only to sign into the apps). Tried turning it on today and it wasn't working. Yet another Samsung tv that I will have to return now within the last week.

    Let me begin by saying I have been a loyal Samsung buyer for years. I have a 65", 55", and 2 40" LED tvs from various model years, and have used the galaxy series of phones since they first came out, including the Note 9 which I'm using right now. I purchased this TV to use for watching multiple sporting events during the football season. It worked well the first 2 times I used it, which was the previous 2 Sundays. But this weekend it turned on with no picture. The sound works, I can verify the TV is powered on, but no display; the screen is completely dark. I tried various fixes to no avail, and furthermore best buy states my return window ended--3 days ago. Now I have to deal with the manufacturer which is going to be a delight. This could be a simple one-off as I have never had an issue with a Samsung tv, but this turned me off completely. I will also stop being a best buy customer due to this ridiculous situation where I now have to use my free time waiting for a technician to make a house call when BB could have just exchanged it like a good company would. Never again.

      If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.

      1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation.
      2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
      3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.

    Received smart tv which arrived damaged

    The smart tv was delivered Saturday June 6 and upon setting it up noticed that on the lower back right corner was separated about 4”. The manual clearly states if damaged, call the Samsung customer service and not the store where purchased. Called as directed and was told I needed to call the store where purchased, not Samsung problem? Really, oh and told me I would have to pay for service call

For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.

    Not super Impressed. My sony 4K is way better.. screen gives of way too much heat. Front and back of tv gets hot!

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. Watching TV for an extended period of time causes the panel to generate heat. The heat from the panel is dissipated through internal vents running along the top of the TV. The bottom, however, may feel hot to the touch after extended use. Children watching TV need constant adult supervision to prevent them from touching the TV. This heat, however, is not a defect and does not affect the TV's functionality.

    Was amazing until today! Screen dimmed almost black....ugh, did the trouble shooting instructed and tv is just shot....loved the picture and quality overall, now i have to buy a new one....just out of nowhere, no flickering or anything, just dims and stays super dimmed almost black, wish i could get a replacement :(

    The worst television I have ever owned. Smart features do not work with any reliability. Constantly freezes and restarts without reason. It worked just fine for about 30 days and then just stopped working. with any consistency.

    Not happy with the quality of the tv. For what I paid for the tv it should be better.
