    When I 1st got this tv it only took 2 days for it to start having issues. First was then screen, Sometimes when I would come home from work I would have to unplug and replug it back in because the screen would start acting crazy then I looked up that you had to update the software and I did problem solved I guess, then about 2 months after now it won’t turn on i had to wait a whole week for geek squad to come just for them to tell me I had to wait for some parts wich would be another week on top of that schedule something for when they get here so your telling me I have to wait about half a month to get my tv back working????? I will NEVER for as long as I live buy another Samsung device they should just stick to phones but even those are trash

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

      You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

      You may select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences. Press the Home button on your remote, and then navigate to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. I am very sorry you are viewing scenes that appear too dark. A new firmware update has been released to address this issue. You may also need to manually reboot your TV after the update by either unplugging the AC cord or by pressing and holding the power button on the remote until the TV powers off and back on.

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.

      You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    Purchased two identical TVs from Samsung. First one had problem with picture and was covered under warranty. Second one has black spots in background of screen. Warranty expired, of course. Stuck with inferior product.

      If this occurs on all sources and the picture test, this will require service.

    Second day I had to reset to factory settings because of a vertical bar that wouldn’t go away. The smart features like apps don’t work even half the time. Was forced to buy a 4K Roku because of that. What’s the point of having smart features when they hardly ever work?

      1) Check the antenna and input cable connections

      2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections

      3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines

      4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
      (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    I wanted a TV that would let me set a sleep timer, upon the recommendation of the CSR I spoke with over the phone this should have been the one, it was not. :-(

    The tv has stopped working completely - conveniently a few months after the manufacturers warranty has ended. The screen just went black out of nowhere but the sound is still working (out of the absolutely awful speakers). We have only had these tv for ~15 months and we’re not expecting to have to purchase a new one so soon. We have tried all troubleshooting recommendations without success. We will never buy another Samsung product again. Very disappointed

    lousy customer support is very disappointing

    I ordered this TV on April 8 for a 75-year-old neighbor who does not have a computer. The Smart TV arrived without the Operating Manual. My neighbor has no experience with Smart TVs and neither do I. My neighbor has no isea how ti access the Internet or any pf the other features because there is no manua;. I have called both Best Biy and Samsung several times and I have not been able to get either company to send the missing manual despite twice being told a manual would be sent. This lousy customer support from Best Buy & Samsung is very disappointing.

    Buy insurance for when it inevitably breaksdown

    It was good until it wasn't. Was very happy with my purchase until today. At the 9 mo mark, the TV blacks out with power still on. Not able to view or make selections. Of course I hope a quick power off and on would help. Not the case! The screen has no life in it. Red light flashes when remote is used, which tells me there is power, and the issue is more technical. A complete loss. I do not have any tech support so I'm now sitting with a 9 mo old busted TV.

    DUMB TV...the worst I've ever owned

    I don't think I will ever buy a Samsung TV again. Constant battle with this Dumb TV. While all other TV's in the house connect to wifi and load content, this lemon refuses to cooperate, regularly. I turn it on, it spins, won't load apps, then I have to unplug, plug back in every time. Connection is spotty and it works when it decides to work. We have Vizio and Samsung. ALL the Vizio TVs always connect, no problem. Very disappointing. Will buy LG next time and hope for better outcome. Samsung is sloppy, careless, and greedy.

    Slow and Delay Issues

    This TV is so slow for remote and has a delay. I updated software and still horrid. Stuck in another room and never use it anymore unless have to.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

    Mostly my fault for not realizing that this was an open box. I received the TV. It did not have a remote. I could not setup or use the TV at all without the remote. I called Best Buy customer support and they guy called the store but the store never answered so he let me go telling me that I could call the store to try to get a remote. I called multiple times and the store never answered. So I could not use this TV at all until I bought a remote on eBay. I will likely never buy from Best Buy again after this experience.
