The picture quality of the tv is fine, but I hate the interface. I went with Samsung because I read good reviews about their Tizen platform, but being forced to watch ads and having sponsored shows shoved into my face is horrible. I thought about returning the tv, but instead I'm just going to use my roku and ignore the Samsung interface altogether. Very disappointing. I just want a clean, simple interface that only shows the channels I choose to have on my homescreen, not all of the channels Samsung takes money to force on me.

Samsung TV Plus can be disabled, which removes the channels from your default guide. Should you want to disable TV plus, follow the steps below:
1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove’. 2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service. 3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.
Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature

After 24 hours this TV flashed on me and all colors went green and yellow. I called Samsung and they tried to get a repair person to fix it but they were worthless. I’m so disappointed in my decision and I’m afraid I’m out of the money I spent

This TV worked ok for about 10.5 months . After six weeks, several service calls and the replacement of the screen twice, the circuit board once and the cable between them, the TV is still not working. All parts have been Samsung. The Geek Squad has been very good and requested Samsung to replace the TV several times since it was still under their warranty but they just keep sending parts.I have talked to Samsung three times looking for a replacement or a refund at this point. The Samsung customer service is horrible. Even a promised call back from a supervisor has not happened.Do not buy a Samsung product.

This TV comes loaded with Samsung apps that you cannot remove and pop up every time you turn on the unit. Samsung app is loaded with a bunch of channels I’ll never watch. Terrible that you are forced to keep this on your TV.

TheTV does not even work with Samsung smartthings app. You would think on the largest Tech companies in the world could pre install the app on their smart TV. Cannot add apps to the TV unless they were added initially. Really disappointed.

Here is a short guide to adding new apps to your TU7000 TV. From the TV's Home screen, navigate to and select APPS, and then select the Search icon in the top-right corner. Next, enter the app you want to download and select it. You will see detailed information about the app. From here, select Install.
And just so you know, access to new apps will be occasionally added to your smart TV through software updates.

I brought the new TV into my new home and placed it on the dresser. I plugged it in and got the red light but no picture. The cable guy hooked the Tivo up to other 3 TV's but couldn't get a picture on the Samsung 43". He had me sign a form saying it wasn't him that broke it. It was fresh out of the box I didn't think it was him or me. Maybe the Samsung power supply? I wasn't about to open up a brand new TV to find out so I sent it back to Best Buy.
2 of the other TVs were LGs so I bought another LG to replace the defective Samsung.

Had this tv for 2 months and now the picture no longer works. Looks to be a power board issue.
Samsung’s repair process is horrible. The company they use in my region is Service Quick. Horrendous customer service and it looks like it will be another week till anyone can come out to look at the tv.
Unfortunately this is out of the refund timeline or I’d be taking this right back to Best Buy.
Never buying a Samsung tv again!

Interestingly enough, we have the exact model but a larger tv and it’s quite noticeable how each function from each other. After software update and many calls to Samsung customer service, I’m not very happy with this decision.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 4K Smart TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.
Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection

I have purchased this Tv now 2x with one purchased around 2 yrs ago… Welp fast forward the tv powered off by itself with only audio available with a grey n black screen visible… Miraculously a few hours later tv decides it wants to show a pic but now there is a line running they the picture horizontally … I haven’t had good luck with Samsung tv q60 went after 2 yrs n now an issue w this 1 no bueno

1. Run a Picture Test on the TV. Navigate to Settings, select Device Care, and then select Self Diagnosis. Select Picture Test, select OK, and then view the test. You can select Yes if the picture looks normal, No if there is a problem with the picture, or Show again to see the picture a second time.
2. Determine if lines are appearing during the Picture Test. Look for a line or lines on the screen during the Picture Test. If there are no lines, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines. - If the lines still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If lines appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step.
3. Request service if lines appear during the Picture Test. If you see lines during the Picture Test, please visit our Support Center to request service. Make sure you have the TV's model code, software version, and serial number when calling. If your TV is out of the 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty, you can locate a service center in your area on Samsung's website. Very disappointed. The TV stopped working just one month after delivery barely a few days past Best Buy returns deadline so I sent it for GeekSquad repairs. Still haven’t got it back.
It beats me that a brand new television wouldn’t even give me one month’s service and to make matters worse I have waited more than two weeks to have it repaired. I regret purchasing this product and do not recommend it to anyone.

Can’t say how disappointed I am with Samsung and this TV.
I’ve had others but no more. It worked great for about a month. Then the screen went black. Tried everything!
Reached out to Samsung and completely expected a replacement but no! I had to call several times and heard I had to schedule a service call. All this in the middle of the pandemic.
Well, that tv is in garage and I bought a new different brand. That’s quite a warranty they have. That’s ok. Won’t have another Samsung anything. Lost $300 bucks but got piece of mind and lots of family and friends.

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
Please refer to pages 135 – 140 step-by-step troubleshooting instructions.

I purchased this tv a little under 2 years. It worked fine, then all of a sudden the screen display turned dark. Did all the testing with a Samsung rep, updated software, reset the tv as well as the picture settings. To no avail none of that worked. This tv should not be having problems in this already. I have tvs that are older and are still working good. To top it off its no longer under warranty. I shouldn't have to pay as much to get it fixed as I paid for the tv.

I see that you’ve already tried adjusting your image, but I did want to share the following adjustments with you, just in case:
Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue:
1. Press the Home button on the remote.
If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal.
If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).
2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.
After you've reconnected the external device, could you turn it off and back on?
3. Test the HDMI cable.
Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step.
The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords.
To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test.
If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.
4. Test different external devices.
The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting to a different device or using a different source port. If you could not test the cable in the previous step, try swapping the cable, too.
If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service.

This TV would show a picture, then turn off. Over and over again. I tried switching HDMI cables and alternating the inputs from streaming to XFinity. It kept shutting down; after three hours I returned it to my local Best Buy store and (as usual) they were VERY helpful, and I exchanged it for a LG model which setup in less than 30 minutes. I have four Samsung TV's and they are very good, but this model seems to have issues based on other reviews posted and my personal experience.
