Screen just stopped working after 2 months. I can hear the menus and other sounds but no image. Tried to get Samsung to honor the warranty but no matter how many online receipts I send them they say it is not enough info to process my warranty. I have been a big supporter of Samsung for a long time but this is stupid and I will NEVER buy another one of their products. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TV!

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.

Don't buy any SAMSUNG branded TV. They're all installed with a feature designed for Samsung smartphones to tap your phone on the tv and broadcast your phone. This feature CHIMES EVERY TIME there is ANY sort of vibration if its somebody walking or even bass from music. Samsung REFUSED to help me and MANY other people with this problem. All recent samsung tvs will chime at you loudly nonstop DO NOT buy from them! Compared to any other television (I currently own an insignia which is far more reliable) this tv is also extremely slow and unresponsive to any input.

Tap View feature that gives you the option to allow for Multi Screen between your smart phone and TV. This feature can be disabled from the SmartThings App Settings on your phone.
Also, please check that your TV has the latest firmware update. To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote. - Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now - Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on.

Don't buy if you want to ise it for prime tv or Disney +. It constantly freezes and refuses to play videos off both apps. You have to reset the smart hub every other day to get them to work. And Samsungs answer is to contact Amazon and Disney to have them fix an app that works on everything else. I would go with a different brand

I didn't even buy this product, but for some reason, in spite of having called support, I am still getting emails related to someone else's account. How do I express my dismay about that? I've been plagued with emails about a tv I did not purchase. So here is my review of that since no matter how much I complain, they have not resolved the issue.

I bought this tv for my son’s dorm room. It was offered at a really good price for Samsung. I felt confident it would be a good tv........WRONG. We only had the tv for 1 month, yes 1 month when the screen just cracked on its own. The TV wasn’t hit, bumped, tilted, nothing. Just sitting there as TVs do. Turned the tv on and there was a cracked distorted screen. I’ve never had this happen with any of my flat screens and I have a few and none are Samsung. First and last Samsung I will ever buy. Total waste of money. Thanks for nothing Samsung.

It was a gift for my wife the packaging was not double boxed and the screen was cracked. Very disappointed should’ve been Packed for shipping better. Glad it happened bc it just shows poor quality of the product where even the instructions were ensuring we don’t ever touch the screen. How can you not touch it when you have to clean it. Don’t recommend but most Are not great quality anyways even the more expensive ones. I don’t recommend.

Bought this TV and it showed up in a packing box taped together. Figured I may have accidentally bought a refurb (didn’t check and now see I didn’t). Set it up and didn’t use for a month other than an initial check (it worked initially). Now won’t connect to Wi-Fi. Got a dud and can’t return. Shame on me, but shame in best buy for sending it this way. I rolled the dice on a second try… let’s see if it works out

I loved this Tv until it stopped working after about 3 weeks. Tv had sound but a black screen. Samsung customer service told me to return when he couldn’t resolve issue. I exchanged tv at same location w the same model. Had the exact same problem on day 2! Didn’t want to make same mistake a 3rd time so I bought an LG which o am now returning because their anti-privacy policy sucks. So I’ve bought an older model Samsung from Walmart that is a terrible reflection. Wish these companies would spend as much time on the functionality as aesthetics!

Original one had sound issues where it would make loud noises after a few hours and then not have audio at all after a while. Had to exchange it, the new one is working better.

First, let's ensure your firmware is up to date. Please go to Settings> Support > Software Update. You can easily update the firmware from here.
Next, go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

Quite possibly a 2018 leftover. Password character limitations necessitated change in WiFi password and completely negated option to sign into Samsung account even though this is a Samsung product. Finally set up TV through my Prime Video account. Very slow to load video, drops connection, freezes. I have very fast fiber optic internet and no problem with WiFi on computer or devices. Best Buy customer service absolutely horrendous and I will never buy another product from Best Buy.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you experienced issues setting up and your unit is showing some delay and connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.
5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.
You may also want to optimize the smart TV performance by running the Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care. This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
