Excellent condition advertised as returned with minimal use, but what I received appeared to be used and the battery life shot. Now I either have to contact Apple or find someone at Best Buy to exchange, replace, repair what was supposed to be a brand new headphones. "Open Box Excellent" is not used and returned, but opened and returned with minimal use. I'll never buy a package that's been opened at Best Buy again.

      Lady:

I am very sorry to see that your TV exhibited internal damage upon inspection by a technician. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.

We recommend you contact Best Buy directly for assistance in correcting this situation. We hope your issue is resolved in a timely manner.

Should you have questions or concerns regarding the usage or setup of your TV once you have your replacement, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

I've always went with Samsung products and never had problems in 10 years. I seen the negative reviews on this one but went with it anyways because of price. Now after a few months it can't turn on. It tries but it just turns off and on over and over with nothing coming up.

      Chynva73:

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.

Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020

For instructions on how to update your firmware, please visit: www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

      5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to
Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.

If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service.
Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.

This is one of the worst TVs that I have ever owned. Every time you start the TV, you are forced to watch Heartland. And, the remote is so delayed... e.g, you type something and it takes forever to respond (and yes, I've put in new batteries). Seriously, this TV is AWFUL and I love Samsung. STAY AWAY.

      Hi, hlcsco81,

We appreciate your feedback on the TU7000 TV's interface and remote. Please know that you can utilize a few settings to improve your experience.

First, Samsung TV Plus, can be disabled if you do not wish to use it.

      1) Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and press and hold the enter or select button on the remote. This will bring up two options. ‘Move’ and ‘Remove.’
      2) Navigate to ‘Remove’ and select. This option brings up the ability to remove the app icon or disable the service.
      3) Navigate to ‘Disable’ and select. This will remove the service from the launcher bar and the channels from the TV Guide.

Alternatively, you can leave TV Plus enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below:

      1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub
      2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature
      3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App
      4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature

Next, ensure that your TV is running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

I hope these tips resolve your concerns.

I usually like Samsung home products, but this TV has a terrible picture and we can’t see a thing. We’ve only had it two weeks and we’ve tried everything, changed every setting, called support... total waste of time and money. Don’t make the same mistake we did... look for a different brand and always check online reviews before buying. Especially during the pandemic when nothing can be returned.

From the very first time we turned it on we experienced problems. At first, regardless which app we selected, it was defaulting to Samsung TV. We called customer service and they made us reset the TV. After that, every single time we turned it on, we had to reset it, so after 5 days we returned it. Fortunately the Best Buy returning process was seamless.

Horrible service. Geek Squad never answers phone. Must wait for very long periods of time. I paid extra for this? I will never buy from Best Buy again.
