I had high hopes for this tv, but anytime I would turn the tv back on from the last time use, the image was distorted and retain an imprint of the previous show that I was watching. Mind you the, the tv was use for short periodos most before going to bed. Returned and got a different brand.

This TV went out within 6 months of having it now Samsung is wanting to replace the part in the TV which is the component that makes the TV work basically a TV but the don't want to warrant the new parts for the year

Got the TV just to get home and find it had a busted screen. This is the second product I have gotten from best buy that had a busted screen. Will not recommend buying T.Vs or monitors from them. Severely inconvenient.

Cannot comment on picture quality. Phone tech support and local repair are easily accessible. Nevertheless, screen went black. This is the 2nd of 2 Samsung flat screens that have failed while still in 1 year warranty.

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.

I just got the TV in June and there is something wrong with it. Been waiting for bestbuy to get someone out to fix it. I was supposed to get a phone call the night before never did just got a call the day of. Maybe I should of have just sent it out to where Samsung had told me too

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020
5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.

Thank you for your review of the TU7000 TV. If your TV is dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.
1) Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution - and disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, & Motion Lighting
2) Go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings - and disable Contrast Enhancer.
3) Run Picture Test. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
If the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of your connected device.

Complete garbage! Horrible picture quality, black strip across the top and bottom about 2 inches tall while TV is playing, does not measure 43” as the box states. More like 36 inches. Was delivered yesterday and I’m returning today. Don’t waste your time on this product.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. Your model measures 42.5" when measured diagonally from corner to corner. Black bars on the top and bottom of your screen can be caused by either a setting on your cable/satellite box or by the channel or movie you are watching. However, the TV can be adjusted to help minimize this.
By adjusting the aspect ratio, you will get the image to fill the screen. Go to Settings>General>Picture Size Settings>Picture Size

I love Samsung tv's, but this one stopping turning on after 7 days. I went on vacation and now it it not returnable. I hope Samsung honors their warranty. It was a wonderful TV when it did work.

The SmartTV functions are slow and hardly usable. I would definitely not buy this again. Spend an extra hundred dollars and get a TV that actually does what it’s supposed to do. Huge disappointment!

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update
Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update.
New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update.

I have only had this tv for one month and the tv will turn itself on approximately 35 seconds after I turn it off. The red light on the bottom of the tv will periodically blink off and on when the tv is off, when the red light should be a solid red.

1) Check the antenna and input cable connections
2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections
3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines
4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception
