I purchased this television for the great reviews but when I first got it I was a little disappointed because the picture was so dark. The technicians explained that it wasn’t the television but that it was my satellite dish net work. I told them unfortunately that was the only thing I could get, as we couldn’t get Directv. They said are you sure, because if you can see the sky you can get DIRECTV. I called direct again that day and apparently what I had done was put in for DIRECTV streaming instead of DIRECTV satellite. Direct came out the next day and install the system and this TV has the most beautiful lifelike picture! We’re so happy with it, that I ordered another one to put in a different room

Impressed! Spent 3k on a Sony 75” tv which doesn’t even compare to this $300 Samsung. Picture quality tremendously better on the Samsung. Features a lot more viewer friendly and set up, to include downloading apps, easy.

The picture on a Samsung TV has never been an issue. and this is no different. My issues are with the remote and the airplay feature. Thankfully, I have a universal remote that I use. The included one is simply not possible to use in the dark as the buttons are VERY small and too similar in shape/size. There is also no backlight. If you need anything other than the "+" navigation and volume/channel buttons, you will have issues. One of the reasons that I picked this item was the ability to use it with my MacBook so I could airplay from a comfortable chair in my home office when I was in a meeting or a class. The connection works about 1/2 the time and often needs a physical disconnect from power before the connection will work.

The TV itself is great and the picture is outstanding. 1) I have a huge issue with the remote. It’s close to impossible to use and very frustrating when trying to type something in. If you get this TV, I highly recommend you get something else like a fire stick because you won’t be able to use their built in apps anyway. 2) If you are planning on mounting the TV like most people do, you are going to need special (yes special) screws in order to mount it. Mounting kits do not come with these types of screws so expect to wait a week or so to mount your TV. Do I recommend it? Honestly, just go with a different brand. I used to be all about Samsung but this frustration was too much.

      Saenz,

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 Crystal UHD TV.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience you had with installation because wall mount screws were not included. Please understand that we do not include wall mount screws because not every wall will require the same type of screw. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific screws to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic screw type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting his TV insecurely.

I have included here Here is the link to the downloadable eManual that include the TU7 series remote diagram and a detailed step-by-step guide (page 20-22):

This smart TV is a good value for it's size. Great picture for over the air channels and streaming. Most of the apps can be downloaded, also Hulu works on this unit. Remote response sometimes is slow, but really not a issue

Pitcure is decent for a $300 4k TV. Sound is okay. Navigating the apps and turning up or down the volume has some issues. The tv doesnt respond right away when pressing the volume buttons pr using the arrow keys to scroll through apps. Overall, cant complain since its not a top of the lik TV. Worth the $300 so far.

Good picture, happy so far. Will update if any issues. Only complaint - the Samsung TV remote doesn't interact with the Samsung sound bar (not included with the TV, but how is it that the Samsung TV remote can't control the volume of the Samsung sound bar?

Great TV. The size and clarity where just what I was looking for. This was a gift-I set up before I gave it to him. It was light enough for one person to put together and move (didn’t wall mount). Very happy with purchase.

My old set was about 15 years old or so. I got an email from Best Buy and saw this set. I was thinking about it and then got an email from my computer magazine about good buys for black friday and this set was one of them. That convinced me to get it. It is 43" and my old was 36", so it is 30% bigger and 4k on top of that. I started watching one of my favorite reality show and the picture was amazing. It looked filmed on the old set, but taped on the new set, like a news show. Though it has good sound, I connected it to my sound system as I am used to that. It has an optical sound connector so I had to get an adapter, but works great too. One thing, I am old and just want a TV set, I didn't connect it to WiFi. I do what I did with the old set, I have a computer hooked up to it with an HDMI switch to stream.

I was looking for a TV to mount on the wall in my basement workout area...this was definitely a great choice. Set up was easy, and actually has a lot of channel chices with just Wifi access. Great picture and price was better than I expected.

Amazing 4K TV for the price. Had it for a year and half and have not had any issues whatsoever. However, it’s only shows 4K quality content amazingly. Meaning it will show anything you put on but if it’s not 4K, it will show kinda bad and the black color values look terrible at times.

Saw this on the Memorial Day sale and decided to buy it to replace the old 32” flat panel lcd tv in my office. I’m using it for Gaming and for streaming Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, Disney +, and YouTube. It’s everything I thought it would be for the price. (It’s hard to complain about a $250 4K TV). Anyways, the only really bad thing about it is that it lags a bit sometimes when going between apps or options with the remote. But all in all, it’s a great intro 4K tv and hard to beat for the price. You won’t regret buying this tv. It’s a solid 4K TV. However, if you’re wanting a premiere 4K TV without spending over $600, I’d recommend a Sony. It’s what I bought for my bedroom and I LOVE IT.

Excellent 4K monitor for Surface Pro

I am actually using this with my work-issue Surface Pro as a 4K monitor on my standing desk in my home office. It’s an excellent size, and when I have four open windows in a 2x2 grid, it’s just like having four 1080p screens side by side and stacked. 4K offers a serious amount of desktop real estate. Just be sure to change your magnification to 125-150% so you can both take advantage of that real estate and keep the font sizes at a comfortably readable size. I haven’t perused the reviews to see if anyone else has done this, but I figure someone might be wondering if this is a viable solution to multi-screen multitasking. The answer is yes.
