A great value for a 4K Smart TV for the bedroom. Picture is clear and color is ratios are what I expected. The price for this Samsung 43” TV was what captured my attention initially.

This TV is really, the picture and sound are fine for watching TV. I'm not an audio or visual fanatic and was just looking to replace a TV that was on its last legs as far as connecting to an HDMI and blaring audio. My previous TV was not a smart TV either, so I was excited to not have to plug in a Chromecast or Roku to watch streaming apps. It was supposed to be all right there, as soon as I turn on the TV. Unfortunately, this TV's capability of connecting to my WIFI network is awful. Everything will be fine when it will suddenly say it can't connect to WIFI. Sometimes this will happen right after turning on the TV and after waiting some time, it still will not connect. Other times it happens when trying to switch to another streaming app, like Netflix to Hulu. This is the only device having issues, so I know it's not a WIFI problem, but the TV itself. The TV and the router are both located in the living room, maybe six feet apart from each other. While the TV is swearing to God in heaven that no WIFI has ever existed in my home, none of my other devices have disconnected or have issues reconnecting should I temporarily remove them off the WIFI (like my phone, tablet, etc.). I have to continuously reset the WIFI and occasionally the entire factory reset the whole TV for it to work again. It's tiring having to set up the WIFI over and over and over when nothing's changed. It's really frustrating to not have cable and rely on these streaming apps for the TV to do this. It makes the TV pointless, turned on but with nothing to connect to. If you're a cord-cutter too, you may want to think twice before purchasing this. If you have cable or plan on using this to connect to a gaming system or something else, then this TV is great! If you are hoping this "smart" TV can provide one less step in opening up Netflix, look elsewhere.

      Martorr:

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues.

You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
      1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
      2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.

Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Ver 1401.7 is now available at: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020

Instructions for how to update firmware are detailed here: samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

The picture quality is quite good and its light weight makes for easy wall mounting. The only qualm I had was that the initial set-up via the remote control unit was a tad overly complicated and not entirely intuitive.

I bought this for my mother in laws birthday. We have an older version of a 7 series, and it came with their latest remote which is similar to Apple TV’s and has great interface. NOT THIS ONE. The remote control looks like taken out of the 90’s, with an interface lag and recall that I won’t recommend to anyone. Images looked nice and crisp, but Samsung cut corners on the WiFi connectivity and remote control that makes or breaks the user experience. I returned this item and got her the 8 series. I read the 8 comes with the newest remote, which is far superior than the one provided in this model. If it gets delivered and has the same remote, I’ll return as well. Better chance of buying a cheaper brand than getting this 7 series.

This television has a great picture and a very well laid out remote however the apps only work so so. For example 50% of the time the Hulu app does not work properly and remote lags extremely slow when moving from app to app often causing you to choose the wrong app.

This is rea really Great TV. Color quality is amazing, HDR, 4k!! Very sleek TV. The speakers are nice and loud, even has decent bass. I really like how the TV recognizes devices that are plugged into it via HDMI. Casting working flawlessly as well with my apple and android devices. My only issue with this TV is that the remote no longer recognizes my XBOX One. When I first got the Tv it worked flawlessly, being able to control my Xbox with the Samsung Tv remote, making it really easy to watch movies and media. But then it just stopped working...almost returned the Tv Because of losing this feature..But decided to just get an Xbox Media remote.. Problem Solved... I really want to give it 5 stars, but losing the feature to control my Xbox with the Samsung controller was definitely a con. Hopefully Samsung recognizes this issue and corrects it.

Overall we are very happy with this TV. The colors are good, clarity good and there is little to no blur when watching sports. Set-up was a bit cumbersome, and since we are connected via a cable box, I was not interested in the free Samsung TV channels, especially since it is the default. I downgraded my rating for two reasons: 1) when I used a standard cable cord to connect the TV to the cable box, I was unsuccessful - I ended up having to purchase an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the cable box and then everything worked and 2) every now and then the NetFlix button stalls and I have to reboot the TV go get it to work again. However, it is an excellent value for the price.

I really like this tv and use it mostly as a PC monitor. The picture is crisp and when watching a 1080p signal it looks great. I guess that is from the upscaling as the picture looks more in the 4k range. Tizen has many apps and they work great but overall I am not a big fan of the Tizen interface. Also, I use a hd homerun tuner and unlike Android TV the Tizen OS does not allow for DRM content to be played from the Cable card. So Tizen is definitely not for me. I wish they had this TV with Android TV instead. Great picture if that's what you want. If I was using it to stream I would use a third party streaming device instead of Tizen.
