Great PC Monitor despite dumb software

Using HDMI interface makes it easy to set up... but the software for startup as a PC monitor is really dumb and makes it hard to get it running when you turn the PC on... I just never turnoff the monitor and runs fine... WHAT IS CRAZY IS THAT THE REMOTE RUNS MY SAMSUNG TV AND THERE IS NO WAY TO SEPARATE THE TWO DEVICES FROM THE COMMANDS FOR THIS MONITOR... I JUST TURN OFF THE TV WHEN USING THE PC!

Great bedroom TV

Unfortunately, the mounting points on this TV (7 series) are located at a different place than the 6 series. I had to relocate the mount to make it sit at the same height on the wall. Strange that they moved the mounting points that much between very similar models. Not a big deal, just a slight pain. Quality, picture, sound, etc. are great and what I expect from Samsung. I have several TVs from them and they are all good.

New adventure..

My previous television suddenly presented an issue and when consulting with an associate from the GeekSquad about it's repair, he apprised me of a similar model, but one with many more features than the one I had and the cost of purchasing this new product was nearly equivalent to what the repairs would have been for the old one. The picture quality is marvelous and finally I am able to view movies, programs, etc., in the quality I have been waiting for for years...

Improvement Needed

An awesome tv for the price with great picture and sound. Setup was good except when trying to get the remote to work with my Directv system. There are two drawbacks. The power cord could be about 6 to 6.5 feet long vice 5 feet. If you wall mount it the cord is not long enough. The remote could be larger to accommodate people with large fingers. The wyfi and setup of the YouTube TV app was easy.
