Won’t carry FOXONE

Otherwise, a very fine instrument good picture clarity adequate sound, and acceptable I’ve every other respect except it will not boot up FOXONE. My purchase was just prior to the World Series, which is carried by Fox. You can readily understand the disappointment. Further, Samsung with indifference said it’s an application issue. Nothing they could do about it.

I have lost sleep waiting for my tv to be delivered. A window of 7 am to 7 pm is the only info you get about delivery time, nothing more specific, even tho they promise to give you a more specific time, you never get one, not in the emails nor on the website. Everyone just says between 7 am and 7 pm. The first promised delivery date was 1 week ago and they never came. I called several times to the store and the delivery service, and noone knew anything. The next day I called again and was told the truck broke down, and the next chance to reschedule was 1 week later. Well here it is one week later and still all I'm told is sometime between 7 am and 7 pm. I will keep calling...

Failed after 13 months

TV was great until it failed almost immediately after the warranty had expired - 13 months. Appears to be the back light. Think I’ll replace with a Hisense and test my luck there.

Spectacular image quality without burn-in.

Lots of reading later I chose the Samsun DU8000 realizing that OLED on a smaller screen (43") may be hard to distinguish from LED, and may be subject to burn-in. I believe the delicacy of OLED will eventually be resolve, but the DU8000 has remarkable dynamic range and lots of features, few of which I need. . If I'm using the 8000 for editiing a paper I don't want to be concerned with permanent degradation. The sector correction might be nice by not likely 1000 dollars worth of shadow detail.

Very clear. I use it as a computer monitor for my job so it's very helpful. I do get annoyed with the sleep mode though but not the end of the world

The Good; Great picture
The Bad: Not user friendly and the function to get the picture to fit the screen would not work. Contacted Samsung Tech Support now the TV isn'y working at all.
